Barn house stay near Palisade, hot tub and views!

Come enjoy country views just 4.1 miles from downtown Palisade. This adorable mother in law "barn" is located right behind our main living house. We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield looming to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best!

Our "barn" has 1 real bedroom with a king bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs in a loft. Please note that it is very open and there is no door, so if privacy is important to you, the second bedroom is not private. The pull out couch is located in the main open living area. We have a full kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, and lots of cooking utensils. If you are booking this space for 6 people, please remember that there is only 1 bathroom and it is small but efficient.
We live across from the barn and we have 2 small children and a busy life so you will likely see us out and about. We have a black cat named River and some chickens who like to come visit.
The outdoor space: We love our yard and we hope you do too! We have a graveled patio with a gas fireplace for you to enjoy. The hot tub is situated between your barn and our house and we don't use it if you're in it. It's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We like to make this as comfortable for you as we can, but we also live here and sometimes need a soak too! :)
We have an outdoor patio with seating for 6 and a gas BBQ.

What a perfect place to stay, beautiful views, quiet country neighborhood, amazing inside and out. The most cleanly and nice place we have rented. I would recommend this place to any couple or small family.

Great location for family fun

The barn house was perfect for our family skiing vacation to Powderhorn. The home is well decorated and equipped and the hot tub was wonderful apres skiing! Would recommend this home for those planning on a vacation in the Grand Junction area.

Lovely stay in Palisade

Cute barn house with a lovely country setting. Everything was clean and well decorated. With the town close enough, it was a romantic getaway for the weekend.

Perfect Barn Stay

We had an excellent stay at the little red barn. The property was exactly as described. It was perfectly appointed, comfortable, and no one wanted to leave. From the bedding to the hot tub and the fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival, we couldn’t have been happier. We will be back!

Picture Perfect

We only stayed one night, but everything about this place was perfect! From the gas fireplace to the comfortable living room to the great beds and incredible kitchen, we wished we were staying longer to take advantage of all the great things available on the property. We will be back if our travels take us this way again!

Perfect Stay

I had a great one-night stay at this barn-home! It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything you need to cook or kick back, and the setup was impressive. There's an outdoor fire pit and hot tub I didn't get to use, but they looked perfect for relaxing. The barn sits on over five acres with an amazing view of the mountains. The family managing the place was friendly and a pleasure to connect with. Only wish I'd stayed longer to enjoy it all!

Quite place to stay

My sister , nephews, and I stayed here for her birthday trip. Beautiful, clean and quiet. The house was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed being able to spread out a bit, play games and spend time together. The boys used the hot tub.

Great Stay

Everything was extremely clean and placement of random things such as blankets and towels were thoughtful. There isn't any loud roosters at the crack of dawn, and the kids loved seeing all the animals around the property. Thank you!

Fabulous setting, fabulous accommodation!

The Red Barn exceeded our expectations. The place was beautifully decorated with more than adequate furnishings and amazing attention to detail. Felt like a home. The country setting was SO peaceful with beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub and loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening. We also enjoyed watching the chickens. Absolutely lovely setting and accommodation. VERY HIGHLY recommend!!!

Love love love this place

The barn was beautiful - comfy beds, well equipped kitchen (and a cupboard with some essential items) and the appliances were terrifc. Comfy seating in the living room. Lots of extra blankets incase of a cold spell. The best part for my husband was the amazing grill. And the fresh eggs from their hens were quite a treat. We will be coming back!!

Lovely... perfect for personal retreat

OMG this was just so perfect for me. I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place to write some music and do some dreaming... this was THE place. The chickens, views, super comfortable bed, and plenty of surfaces on which to spread out and work. So clean and thoughtfully appointed! Thank you for the experience...i really needed it!

Beautiful Barn House

We loved our stay at the Barn House. It was larger than we expected and was very comfortable and clean. I loved the view out of the kitchen window in the morning of the horses grazing in the field. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed all of the amazing amenities this property offers. Highly recommend. Just be aware of the requirement for a large deposit or purchase of damage insurance on top of the rental price.

What a gem!

We would have happily stayed longer! Leah has made the red barn such a welcoming, peaceful respite. So tastefully decorated, comfy, with much-appreciated little touches. One of the first things I did after arriving was to tell my sister THIS is her next (and likely only) place to stay when she visits the area (an annual trek for her from AZ)—wish we could come annually, as well, but it’s a little harder coming from VA!
