Clean, quite and good location for events at Fonner Park area. My only con is that we didn't seem to have a lot of control on the room temp which made it very warm for sleeping IMO.

Called the day before we were to check in about the swimming pool because last time we stayed it wasn’t working. We were told it was working, so we booked the room. We got to the motel and found out the pool wasn’t working. The staff was pleasant and rooms nice.

The young lady who was the receptionist for the evening was WONDERFUL. So helpful. We had a problem with the window not latching (we were on the ground level, so not safe) and she moved us to another room. I asked about a nearby restaurant and commented that I wanted something special because it was my husband’s birthday, and when we came back from dinner, she had a little goodie bag for him … with travel snacks, etc. So thoughtful! Thad made the stay very worthwhile. Breakfast was only average. I didn’t use laundry, but looked very clean. Room was clean and spacious, but pillows were weird (small and very hight).

The front desk clerk, I think her name is Teresa, was the absolute best. The room was clean and my family throughly enjoyed themselves. I would encourage anyone that’s traveling to Grand Island to say here. The only kicker was the pook was down the entire time we were there so the kids didn’t like that. But overall, it was a great stay.
