"I would highly recommend the ranch for the most authentic experience imaginable of life in the Wild West: wood cabins, wagon rides, cowboys training horses and country songs around a fire at night. Casey, the resident cowboy, made it particularly special with his singing, entertaining and general engaging manner. "Starwalk was absolutely lovely, and I would definitely there again, but I would go in late spring or early fall when the weather is milder. I got pretty toasty at times trying to make sure I didn't drain the solar battery by using the AC too much. The host was easy to contact and responsive. Check in and check out were a breeze. Overall, I had a great experience. It was so quiet out there, and the night sky was stunning! Off grid living all of the time is not for me, but every once in a while, it's nice to go off grid and have a break from city life."
