We loved our stay at the inn! Our room was clean, staff was kind and helpful and the grounds are beautiful, not to mention the excellent breakfast! Nice spaces to enjoy outside too!

Our stay was wonderful! The host made us feel so welcome and took great care of us. The food was incredible and they even had a pet menu for our pupper. We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing staff and stay! The room was very cute and clean. The location is the best being directly on the river and walking distance to everything in town. The homemade breakfast every morning was amazing. So convenient that there is a restaurant and bar on site that makes great cocktails. Owner and staff were very accommodating to request and needs. Looking forward to returning.

Prepare to relax. No TV. No phones. No hair dryers. Dog and cat-friendly to the extreme, which was fine with us. The weather was beautiful, so we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the town pass by, or having our morning coffee on the banks of the Paluxy River, or dining at the Tavern at night. Everyone was friendly. The manager Pam was attentive to our needs and questions. It’s in the heart of old downtown Glen Rose, which was fun to explore. We’ll be back.

The inn is very historic and the sitting areas by the river are wonderful. They are very dog friendly and you will get to meet the two resident dogs.

Very disappointed. We had gone for a 20 mile hiking event and the owner had told us that she would have some eggs ready in the morning. We went down at 7:15 am in the morning but there were only store bought muffins, yogurt and coffee for breakfast. When we came back at 4:00 pm there was no hot water for tea or coffee, infact there was no one to be seen around. We had to check out and had to wait good 15 minutes for the owner to turn up! On the plus side the beds were comfortable!

Cozy and Relaxing

Lovely, sweet inn and so close to downtown Glen Rose. Welcoming and friendly staff. The cool breezes under the shade trees near the water were the perfect place to sit and read or just watch the water go by. Staff was so accomodating and helpful. Rooms were large and quiet.
