This brand-new home is so very chic with beautiful views of Hell's Gate Basin and Possum Kingdom Lake. Brand new swimming infinity pool, huge hot tub and pavilion overlooking the lake are where you will want to spend your days and evenings. This beautiful home consist of 4 master suites with ensuite full bath, sleeps 16 people and a large bunk room for 8 with 4 King beds. Prefect set-up for Mutiple families. The chef's kitchen consists of a 48" professional double oven and vent hood along with double refrigerators, double dishwashers, double washer and dryers.

This Amazing Lodge is not just a summer retreat but also great for cooler weather in fall and winter for get togethers. The home has a HUGE hot tub and large fireplace plus plenty of seating inside any type of gathering.

The Sportsman's world development has a beautiful marina with jet ski and boat rentals available.

One of the coolest things about Possum Kingdom Lake are the many hiking and biking trails. There are some really great hiking and biking trails on the east side of the lake that connect all of the BRA parks and campgrounds. These trails wind through the hills overlooking Possum Kingdom Lake.

Possum Kingdom Lake runs along the Brazos River. Extending out of the southeast corner of the lake is a great place to kayak along the Brazos River.

Hell’s Gate which is the cove where this home is located is the premier party area on Possum Kingdom Lake. It is also home to one of the most massive fireworks displays in the state of Texas on the fourth of July. Hell’s Gate is defined by the two huge cliffs that stand as gates to the entry to a cove on the south end of Possum Kingdom Lake.

Restrictions:

This is the perfect place to entertain your well-mannered family and friends. Please treat it with respect. We expect it to be returned to us in the same excellent condition we lent it to you in. You will be responsible for any damage or missing items. We have provided very nice towels, pillows, art, and exotic animal displays throughout.

*Minimum age for main renter is 28 years old. *Maximum number of guests at any time is 16. *No smoking. *No pets.

The house was great for the group that we had as far as the space. It was very sparse on what I would consider basics. We had to go buy toilet paper since there was only two half rolls between the five bathrooms. We also had to get more towels from home because of the limited supply. The kitchen utensils were very worn - we can’t want to use the skillets because they looked like they’re from worried war 2. It was also difficult to get ahold of anyone to get the hot tub heater turned on. Multiple times there were hours of unresponsive messages, phone calls and texts. Other than that it was okay.

Family PK trip

Enjoyed the property. Pool was really dirty and not pumping when we got there. The second day the pool guy came and did a great job of cleaning it and getting it working. Great time was had by everyone. Enjoyed renting a boat. Golf course was very difficult

Family vacation

This house is definitely only for a vacation and not family living. The living area is not set up for family eating as no dining table. The foosball table takes up space where a table could be. Zero washcloths and hand towels in the bathrooms. Closets in 3 of the master suites are tiny. No stands/benchs for luggage so had to put it on the floor. Upstairs beds had no nightstands. Single upstairs bathroom had only 4 bath towels for 8 people. Shower/bathroom tile very slippery when wet so needed a floor mat. Water runs down the shower door and onto the bathroom floor causing a slipping hazard. Pool was awesome!! Hot tub only heated if you pay $10 an hour for propane. Listing stated pool and hot tub heated year-round -- no mention of additional cost. Listing stated 1 minute walk to lake--absolutely NO lake access or view. Public lake access is 30 min drive. Salt/pepper/oil--non of any significance. Stove filled the whole house with gas fumes unless exhaust fan is used. Flames scorched all my pots as the temperature hard to control. Flame would crawl up and around the edge of the pot which was scary, could catch sleeve or pot holder on fire. Think stove not as new as the house and needs some maintenance. For my family of 16 this place not ideal. Also had to contend with tarantulas in/around the pool. Spiders/lizard in the house. Needed more than one trash bin outside--we needed 3. Had to carry our trash to the marina. Fire pit patio needs chairs & table. No outside area for kids
