"Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bett war frisch und sauber überzogen. Das Gebäude und entsprechend auch die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen (muss nicht schlecht sein). Die Zimmer sind dadurch hellhörig und man hört wenn im Flur draußen Leute vorbeilaufen; der Fußboden knarzt. Es gibt keine Rolläden oder Verdunklungsvorhänge. Frühstück war nicht angeboten/möglich. "We had a family room and it was very clean and spacious. However our stay wasn’t so good here. Kids (aged 13 and 11) found the sofa bed not comfortable at all and had trouble sleeping. The cushions were too soft for us again affecting our sleep (although we didn’t request new ones) The room was too hot! The Air Conditioning was set on 18 but didn’t work that well. We called the reception for someone to check but she said no one was around to check and nothing she could do! Thankfully we were here only for a night!"

"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for. The cleanliness stood out immediately. Every space, from the rooms to the dining areas, was spotless and beautifully maintained. It created a sense of calm and comfort that made it easy to relax. The staff were exceptional. Kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made the entire experience feel personal without ever being intrusive. Their hospitality added something special to the stay. The food was outstanding. Dinner was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and breakfast was just as impressive, with fresh, high-quality options that made for a perfect start to the day. Each meal felt intentional and well-crafted. And then there are the views. Whether looking out from the window in the early morning light or watching the sunset settle over the surrounding landscape, the setting is simply beautiful. It is peaceful, scenic, and deeply restorative. This is a place I would return to without hesitation, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a truly memorable experience."

"Expedia fails to protect its customers when the service is not delivered as expected. During our stay, renovation work started directly above our room at 7:00 a.m. without any prior notice. The noise was extremely loud, woke us up immediately, and made it impossible to return to sleep. This significantly impacted our stay and our ability to use the room for its primary purpose. This was meant to be a short vacation to rest, but instead it was disrupted in a way that made it impossible to relax. We reported the issue to reception as soon as it opened at 8:00 a.m., after trying unsuccessfully to rest for an hour. The solutions offered were not practical, as the disruption had already occurred. The hotel staff acknowledged the issue on site and indicated that compensation would be provided. However, after our departure, they refused to offer any compensation or resolution. What is particularly disappointing is how this situation was handled by Expedia. Despite clear evidence of a service failure, the case was treated as a standard cancellation request rather than “service not provided as expected.” The case was closed based solely on the property’s response, without addressing the actual issue. As the issue remains unresolved, I have initiated a chargeback process with my bank due to the failure to provide the service as expected."

Had to call the support number to get the check-in code for the building and room since we arrived after hours. Their reception is not manned 24/7. "

"Really good value hotel, especially for a solo traveller. Room was a decent size and was clean, staff were very helpful. Car park was a decent size but some of the parking was atrocious so I couldn’t always get a space. Only thing I would change is having a kettle - I did miss morning teas! "
