We welcome you to a private and remote 2 bedroom & 2 bath sunny and cozy cottage for a vacation to remember. Once you step in, every part of the house has a breathtaking view of the ocean. Some days you can be the only one walking on the beach in complete serenity. You don't need a million dollars to have the vacation of your dreams. To spend your days lounging on your personal deserted palm-fringed beach and nights sound asleep to the sound of calming OceanWaves.

Beautiful home

This is our second three-week stay at Ocean Waves, which was wonderful once again. We keep returning because the house has everything we need and Lachelle is an excellent host. It’s a 3-minute walk to a near-empty beach on the Atlantic side, a 7-minute drive to a beautiful beach on the Caribbean side, and only a short drive to the restaurants and supplies in Governor’s Harbour. Highly recommended!

Amazing beach vacation

Loved everything about our stay! The beach was beautiful and great for kids and adults. The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Lachelle was wonderful and so easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Waves. It is well stocked with everything that you need. The beach access is beautiful with great snorkeling. It’s close to the stores and restaurants in Governors Harbor which is a plus. Lachelle is a wonderful host. She is very accommodating and was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We definitely will return to Ocean Waves.

Great experience! Highly recommend!

This property and the hosts couldn’t be better! The view is spectacular. The home is very clean and you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s very close to restaurants and shops in Governor’s Harbour and a short walk (5 mins) down Banks Road to Pascal’s. The host is very responsive and even remembered us from our previous stay last year. We hope to vacation at this property again!

Ocean waves had everything you needed and more. It was well stocked with basic supplies. Lachelle was the best, she answered all my questions and assisted us when we needed it. Beautiful home, location and beach. We loved our stay.

Beautiful beach house

So grateful to have stayed at Ocean Waves. Beautiful home on incredible beach. One day I was swimming and a mother dolphin and her baby swam within 10 feet of me and lingered for a minute - what a thrill! Highly recommend. Lachelle is a gracious and generous host!!

Amazing!

The house is amazing with the most beautiful views of the ocean and the sunrise! Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Lachelle is a wonderful host and really makes you feel at home. She answered all of my many questions promptly no matter what time of day. Absolutely wonderful experience and hope to be back!

Ocean Waves

Ocean Waves is a gem! We love staying here and had a wonderful time on our second visit - would've stayed longer if we could have. The house is nicely outfitted with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms, and just about everything you need for the beach. The view is stunning, whatever the weather. The owner is helpful, responsive and a pleasure to deal with - though we've never met in person, it feels like we're friends. Already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you!! ❤️

Our stay at Ocean Waves was beautiful. The house was immaculate and spacious with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and great room. All of the rooms have a fantastic view of the ocean. The back patio runs the full length of the house and has / 2 comfy lounge chairs, 4 more chairs and 2 tables. The view was spectacular ! Great for watching sun rises and moon rises. A short walk down the hill and you run into the gazebo with a large picnic table and benches. A few steps down and you are on the beautiful white sandy beach. The ocean is the last stop with a soft , sandy bottom. The house has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner , lotion and many other incidentals. The garage has beach chairs, a raft , umbrellas and a large cooler. This house has everything you need and then some. The owner is extremely helpful and is there to assist with all your needs. We had trouble with the WiFi and she went out a bought us a new hotspot. The location of Ocean Waves is centrally located and is close to restaurants and stores in Govenors Harbor. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and really adds to the beauty of the house. We highly recommend a vacation at Ocean Waves. I have stayed in a few different places in Eleuthera and it was definitely the best. Thank you for everything Lachelle!!

Ocean waves

Lachelle was fantastic and excellent communicating from booking until check out. She always made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond helping us celebrate for my moms birthday. The home is beautiful and so close to everything. Very well kept and stocked with everything you could need. Quite possibly the best views on the island!! The beach is amazing and we had fun playing in the waves and snorkeling. We can not thank Lachelle enough. For sharing her home with us. It was more than we could hoped for and we look forward to visiting the island again soon.

What a view

Loved the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean from this beautiful home. Was nicely decorated , clean and fully equipped . Lachelle was easy to communicate with and even left us a welcome treat! Despite the stormy weather we had a nice time enjoying Ocean Waves. Would recommend to bring cash when you visit the island. Some stores ,bars and gas stations were cash only. We were very happy we rented the car from Bruno . His employee Mike saw us safely to the house in the storm the night we arrived. The location of the home is terrific as you have the option to explore going north or south. Highly recommend this comfortable home.

This place is an absolute gem!!!

We spent more than two months at Ocean Waves, and feel like the luckiest couple in Eleuthera. It is truly a dream property! Peaceful, private, incredible panoramic view, and lovely terrace from which to enjoy it. A one minute serene walk to the beach. Absolutely stunning beach where we walked for hours. Convenient to Governors Harbour. The house was pristine and we felt welcomed by the owner and her wonderful family. They were there for us whenever we needed anything at all. The owner has thought of everything you might need and more! We felt so cared for and spoilt. We had so much fun and felt so blessed to have found Ocean Waves on our first trip to Eleuthera. We've already booked our next long stay, and can't wait to be back there!! Thank you so very much to the amazing and wonderful hosts of Ocean Waves!

We loved our stay at Ocean Waves. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for 4 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions, both before and during our stay. Definitely recommended!! One tip - we found several places that only took cash. There are ATMs if you run short. Also, don’t miss the fish fry if you’re there on a Friday night!

Superbe Maison lumineuse

Nous avons grandement apprécié cette maison. C’est la première fois que nous louons coté atlantique. Maison lumineuse, longue plage à moins d’une minute juste au bout du terrain, était fort appréciée! Le vent plus présent de ce côté mais ne m’a pas empêché d’en profiter! Y’a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de belles vacances!! À 5 minutes de Govervor’s Harbour , 10 minutes de l’aéroport GHB et à 8 minutes de Sweet and Savoryexcellent sandwichs et salades fait sur place dans sa roulotte!! Je n’hésite pas à recommander cette maison!Merci à Lachelle !

Ocean Waves

This was our 3rd visit and it was wonderful as our previous two stays. Ocean Waves feels like home away from home, we love everything about it: the beautiful view, gorgeous beach, peace and quiet, friendly, helpful, responsive host, and various amenities including a lovely patio, an outdoor shower, lightweight beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment, to name a few. The house has good air flow - we kept the windows open for the cross breeze and never needed the AC. Can't wait to come back next year!

Excellent Stay at Ocean Waves

Just got back from 10 days at Ocean Waves...and already looking ahead to plan our return trip!If anything, the pictures don't do it justice...the view of the water is great, and you have a private access path to the beach, so it's just a minute walk down the hill. The beach is amazing...the most people we saw on it at one time was less than 10, and great for long walks any time of day.Pascal's restaurant is a 5 minute walk down a semi-private road, and provides a great menu to choose from...we ate there 3 times. The house is situated about a 5-6 minute drive into Governor's Harbour, giving access to several other amazing places to eat...we thoroughly enjoyed the Buccaneer Club, Tippy's, and had amazing meals at Bougainvillea and The French Leave. If you would rather stay in and cook (as food prices on the island are very high), there is a good grocery store in Governor's Harbour, Jimmy's Liquor store has a great selection of beer, wine and spirits, and Island Farm is only about a 15 minute drive, where you can source fresh produce and other things (we actually got a fresh lasagna there one day)...highly recommended to check it out.The host, Lachelle, is amazing at responding to questions...usually within an hour, and we felt we were well taken care of!Definitely need a rental car...we used Bruno's at Lachelle's recommendation and it worked out great.Looking forward to going back!

Amazing Place

Oceanwaves is an absolute gem. The house itself is in a great location overlooking the sea with amazing views. There is everything you will need in this house to enjoy some total rest and relaxation as it is very well equipped in all areas including the kitchen and outside areas. The beach is a short stroll away and you can walk on the beach for a long time without seeing many people if anyone at all. There are several restaurants nearby that serve good food and lovely cocktails if you don't feel like cooking ! We had an amazing time at Oceanwaves and cannot praise the host Lachelle enough for her communication and positive vibes. Nothing was too much trouble and we would thoroughly recommend this house and host to anyone looking for a fantastic venue for a relaxing vacation in idyllic surroundings.

Traumhafte Aussicht mit tollem Strand

Das Haus ist vollständig modern eingerichtet. Kaffee, Tee, Honig, öl und vieles mehr ist vorhanden. Zentral gelegen ist man mit dem Wagen schnell im Norden oder Süden. Restaurants, Shops, Farm schnell erreichbar. Der Strand vom riesigen Grundstück erreichbar ist ein Traum. Eine Tagestour mit dem Boot von Todd Pinder ist nicht billig aber jeden Cent wert. Lachelle ist immer erreichbar und hilft mit Reservierungen und gibt gute Tipps. Alles Top, zu 100% zu empfehlen.

vacation of a lifetime!

We loved staying in Gov. Harbour with Lachelle as our host we were so well taken care of!!!! The house is clean big and more beautiful than the pics on line. I gave a 4 for the neighborhood due to bumpy road lol. Lachelle was open to communication and even gave me a gift for changing jobs! So so kind! Will definitely be back

Anniversary trip

Pictures do not do it justice! This home was gorgeous inside and out. The views are breathtaking. Laschelle was amazing. She was available via text/phone call whenever we needed her. The house had every amenity you need plus many extras. A short easy walk to Paschals with great food and wonderful bar tender (Sammy). If you visit Eleuthera we recommend Ocean Waves hands down! Thank you for an amazing vacation!
