"This property is a jewel. This is where they should have filmed "On Golden Pond." It is very private, yet only 20 minutes from I-95 and major supermarkets, etc. If you are looking for piece and quiet, security, a delightfully private pond and a stunning view of the opposite, natural, shoreline with no other cottages, this is your place! Beds are very comfortable with good quality linens and blankets. Kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are of very good quality. Plenty of wood is supplied for those cozy fires at night. The moment you pass through the security gate, you are greeted with a stunning view of the lakes and mountains beyond. My wife & I have rented many upscale properties all over the country and this is near the top in satisfaction. The property manager, Roger, even gave me a courtesy call a few days before arrival just to answer any last minute questions I might have. That was a nice touch. During my 2 weeks stay, he was always accessible if I needed him. We would definitely rent again! Len from NH"
"Lou-Anne & Rick are very kind, thoughtful and attentive hosts. Dexter’s pond and cabin is very clean, cozy and beautiful, being there gives you a deep sense of tranquility. My husband and I spent our 14 year wedding anniversary here and we just can’t say enough about it! It was a wonderful getaway we will not forget! We will definitely come back! "
"We absolutely loved our stay here! This cottage is a peaceful gem — pure bliss from start to finish. We enjoyed paddleboarding every day and the canoe was perfect for exploring the water. The cottage itself was cozy and charming, with unique touches that made the space extra special. We especially appreciated the privacy, it felt like our own little retreat. The only thing to note is that the bees and mosquitoes can be a bit active, so just come prepared for that.Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’ll definitely be coming back!"
