We had a delightful room overlooking the river and it was reasonably quiet. The only noise was late at night from some noisy teenagers in the street below. "It was terrible. Had overlooked there was no aircondition in the room and it was hot and humid. But what made the stay terrible was that there furnace was broken so you could only shower in very cold water."

"Beautiful main building however all the accommodation is in garden rooms adjacent to the property. Pretty basic furnishings but very clean. The restaurant was lovely and the food and wine great. All the staff were very helpful and friendly- would stay here again if in the area"
