Unforgettable July getaway

What a great place to stay. Convenient located in Gore with easy access to Tenkiller lake and the Lower Illinois River. The place was nice and clean with all the amenities that you could ask for. Lots of parking on site, we had multiple vehicles with trailers. The bed were comfy and the back patio is a great place to hangout. Definitely would recommend this as a home away from home.

Perfect stay

I had a family reunion at Marval resort but didn’t want my 85 year old grandma to have to stay in a cabin with the heat. The house was perfect! Less than 10 mins from Marval and close to the grocery store.

Very enjoyable

This was such a cute space! We were here for a funeral and had two little ones that rose for 6 1/2 hours!! The kids space was AMAZING!!! Beds were comfy and a bonus we were right across the street from a flea market!!!

Overall good

The house is decorated cute and in a good location (despite being right across from train tracks). Beds were comfortable and the house was pretty clean. Just a few spider webs around. The backyard patio area was pretty dirty but we didn’t spend any time out there.

I really liked the place, just a couple of things, like the fact that the washing machine filled itself without using it and in the morning everything was full of water and the other thing was the spiders that we found inside.

Mayor house

Grass was mowed but not well. Inside is nice but no linens were washed or beds made. Refrigerator was beeping all night for filter change.

Perfect for family with lots of kids!

Super comfortable for adults and kids of all ages. All high end finishes, tons of conveniences and stocked perfectly. Our host was responsive and helpful and even had beautiful pumpkins for us to carve! All the kids in my group loved the large kids room and I loved that I could let them play there and not hear all the noise! The bedding in the two queen rooms was luxurious and the bed extremely comfortable. A TV in every room. The heating and air was easy and efficient and the large lot was appreciated for the kids to roam and play outside. No neighbors to bother! The train traffic didn’t bother us at all, in fact, the kids loved it. Close to MarVal, Greenleaf SP and Tenkiller. 45 mins to The Castle in Muskogee for Halloween fun. Best weekend in a long time, mostly due to the perfect VRBO.

Not terrible but probably wouldn’t stay again

Property was easy to find and had no issues getting in. The cleanliness was definitely subpar.. a couple dead mosquitos in the fridge with food residue, both kitchen and bathroom faucets unwiped, dirt and a hair in the bathtub, hair on and around the toilet. I contacted the host to replied pretty promptly to our concerns and did offer to refund 1/2 of the cleaning fee. Some basic amenities were also overlooked.. no paper towels or dishwashing detergent pods (even though we were asked to start the dishwasher upon leaving), only 2 rolls of toilet paper for up to 8 guests for 2 nights. Also, the back patio was not as pictured, disheveled and dirty. Overall not a terrible stay, but probably would find other arrangements next time I stay in this area

Cute house

We had a great time, 8 family members with plenty of room. Easy drive to lake, which was nice. Great back yard, very clean house, well decorated. Only complaint is being so close to the railroad tracks, the trains run quite often. We would stay here again though!
