The Space:
Welcome to Swans Shorehouse, an original 1960’s beach shack filled with character and charm. Set right on the riverfront at Goolwa South and positioned between Café Bombora and the family-friendly Adventure Playground, this classic getaway offers the perfect blend of nostalgia and convenience.
Inside, you’ll find a simple and comfortable layout designed for families. There are three bedrooms in total: two with queen beds, plus a tri-bunk room with a double below and single above. The home includes two bathrooms, with the second shower and toilet located in the laundry for extra convenience. At the back, relax around the fire pit after a day on the water or enjoy a bevvy or two on the expansive balcony. There’s also plenty of space on the property to park a boat, perfect for fishing, kayaking, or river adventures. Also enough room to park a caravan, roughly up to 24ft.
Bed linen and towels are included, and the beds will be made up for you. Please bring your own beach towels. The living area captures the retro shack feel and includes Wi-Fi and reverse cycle heating and cooling to keep everyone comfortable year-round. The kitchen is fitted with the basics (no dishwasher or full oven) and has everything you need for holiday cooking. A BBQ is also provided for outdoor meals. Bed linen and towels are included for your stay, and an iron and ironing board are provided.
Swans Shorehouse is dog friendly for up to two well-behaved dogs (sorry, no cats). It’s a casual, easy-going home base for families who want a simple, nostalgic shack experience with unbeatable access to Goolwa’s highlights.
