"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "I believe they told me I'd been upgraded when I checked-in, but my room had a great view of the business harbor if you leaned out over the rail, and I paid for a harbor view (like I had seen in the photos from the pool).
