"I really enjoyed staying at Cabinas Golfito. I had a flight early in the morning, so I just walked to the airport which took less than 10 minutes. Host was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again! "

"El hotel está muy bien ubicado para ir al depósito libre de Golfito. Tiene muchas amenidades disponibles, incluyendo cargador para vehículos eléctricos.
Las habitaciones Std están en un nivel inferior, un poco oscuro. Vale la pena hacer el upgrade a las habitaciones del segundo piso, tienen mejor vista y acceso.
La decoración es un poco antigua pero todo está muy bien mantenido. Definitivamente lo utilizaré cuando vuelva a estar en la zona."
"We stayed four nights in late March, 2026. Cielo Lodge is a fairly new resort in its 5th year of existence. It's a project of love by owners Keith and Nicole Goldstein. Keith was at the lodge during our stay and shared many wonderful stories about the evolution of the ecolodge. We were greeted by staff upon arrival and immediately awed by the sunset view looking over the town of Golfito and the Golfito Dulce, with the Osa Peninsula in the background. The villas are simple yet sophisticated and modern at the same time. There is no tv, ac or even glass doors on the rooms (there are screens to let in the sounds of the jungle and keep insects out)....and none were missed for even a moment. Solar power and spring water are the "utilities". The villas are comfortable, spacious and private.
The staff is all very friendly and eager to help with whatever is needed. Meals are worldclass, with exquisite attention to flavor, color, presentation and balance, using mostly if not all local ingredients. The kitchen seems to excel in knife skills, with so many dishes full of perfectly cut components. We particularly loved the Oyster Ceviche and also Zucchini Rotella with Pomodoro sauce to die for. Our servers Luigi and Moises were fabulous. Ronald was kind to drive us where we needed to be. Josue, our main tour guide and the resident naturalist, has an eagle eye and ear for the local wildlife and seems to have endless knowledge of the jungle. His English is outstanding.

Botanika Osa Peninsula Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"The property is very new,. Rooms are spacious and since it is a resort, the kitchen ia fully stocked ans convenient. Breakfast is good but pricey. The fitness room is a suoer plus.. terrace in the suites have a great view. The hotel is right across the street from the airport. Overall it is a great option. "
"Properties located in a rainforest. There is a really beautiful property. Restaurant is great the food is amazing. Stop is really really accommodating and nice. However it is expensive at about $1200-$1300 a night, when you include the food and stay.. The only problem is that it does not have air conditioning. With the hot and humid weather not having air conditioning creates a big problem. When guests are not getting good sleep, they are not able to enjoy their day and that was a problem for us too. Her daughter was under slept the whole week, and she was cranky in the evenings. I would think that a property of this price range should offer air conditioning to the guests. I would not be returning to this property because of that issue."
"Alas, this property has seen better days. It’s not horrible, or even unbearable, but bare bones. AC was adequate for sleep but not for siesta. Beach is not inviting. Nearby bars were ok for food. We left a day early. "
