"The property is beautiful and well maintained. It feels like a very luxurious stay for a good price. The room was spacious and modern. Loved the heated floors. The hot tubs were a nice amenity and a great way to relax. My only complaints are that the room was too hot and there was not a way to control the temperature requiring us to leave the window open the whole time. Also the beds were entirely too soft and not comfortable but some may like this. "
"1. Loud, loud music (assuming from a nearby night club ?), which vibrated the wall and floor, and lasted until 4 AM.
2. The bathroom door could not be closed (bad door hinges ?)
3. My flight arrived in Reykjavik early in the morning; the hotel staff would not let me check in until 2 PM, not even one minute earlier.

"The Reykjavik Edition is a lovely hotel and the location is very good. Staff were very attentive. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was a very good selection of food on offer with gorgeous views overlooking the harbor. At peak times, they did run out of glasses and it took a while before they were replaced so people ended up using cups for their juice.
We were a family of 3 staying in a double queen room. There is not enough storage in the room for 3 people and we travelled pretty light.
I know the hotel is going for a dark/atmospheric look which I like, but they took it to far. We had every single light on in our room and it was still quite dark unless we opened the blinds.
Heated flooring in the bathroom was a nice touch. Apart from the dark room, we would definitley stay here again."
