「ゆったりと過ごすには最高です。山の上なので途中の展望もよくコテージの近くにはワイナリーが点在してて「ゴールドコーストは海」と言うイメージが変わるようです。レンタカーでドライブを楽しまれる方向きです。ただ、食事は外なので「おいしいもの」を探すのが大変ではあります。」

「A delightful simple cottage, with all the basics for a cosy stay on the mountain. Well appointed, but basic, with good kitchen facilities and a nice fireplace heater. It was very quiet, close to basic shops, cafes and dining options. Nice comfortable bedding and heating (it was down in negative Celsius temperatures on our visit). Good for a stay in Tamborine for a short or longer term. Host was very helpful. Would return here. 」

「4月末だったので朝晩は長袖が必要。薪ストーブがあっていい経験もさせて頂きました。レストランもコンビニもガススタンドも10キロ以上ないので、買い込んでから行ってください。通行止めのルートもあるので注意です。」

「Great quiet place to stay. Very spacious. Lovely walk nearby. Richard was very helpful. Maybe a repeater for the wifi as it was hard to connect sometimes as it would be a great quiet place to work. Would definitely stay again. 」

「The Bush Retreat is in an ideal location to explore the Gold Coat, Surfers Paradise, Tambourine Mountain with biking tracks in the Hinze Dam area. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped for 4 people with ample parking. Beds are comfortable. Water pressure is good with ample hot water. It’s an ideal place to kick back and relax with a bottle of wine in a lovely tropical garden setting with a lot of bird life. We had a lovely time here and the place has huge potential. Recommend.」
