The cabin was as advertised and well equipped, very clean and comfy. Alan was very communicative and helpful pre-trip planning and readily available during the trip.
We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! There was plenty of room for our two families with 5 kids under the age of 5. We loved the waterfront and the boats. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!
We love coming to Loons Nest. Its location is perfect on the lake and next to the bike trails. Always impressed with how responsive the team are if we have a last minute question. The only wish would be for the kitchen/dining space to work better logistically and for there to be storage options for food beyond the fridge. The reality is there are limited options given the infrastructure and we make it work. We hope to be back and would recommend this cabin to others.
What a fantastic place, it was everything we had hoped for. The boats, the yard, the lake, the rooms ,all perfect and we had so much fun. Pro tip, you can get ice cream cones from Tyax, even better is to get them after walking their interpretive hike. We also visited Kingdom lake and walked to Noel and Lost lake with the kids.
We had an amazing stay at the Loons Nest! It had everything we needed for our stay. It’s a great home base for outdoor adventures in the area! Check out the Bralorne Pub for some great food!
Our annual trip to Tyaughton Lake was brilliant as expected. A beautiful and quiet spot to relax and an excellent base for our bike trip.

Excellent secluded cabin
Very happy with the stay here. The kids particularly loved the frozen lake and playing in the snow. The drive in to the cabin was definitely worth it. Highly recommended for families.
Amazing everything!
Such a beautiful and peaceful area. This cabin was so clean and fully stocked. Comfy beds and spacious rooms.
Highly recommend this beautiful spot.
This property provides the perfect setting for a family or group of friends holiday. The location can't be better! Quiet, peaceful, lakefront cabin and great access to the mountain bike trails. Our group had the best holiday and we will book again!
Beautiful spot and scenery. The cabin was great as a jumping off point for biking in the chilcotins.

Fantastic location, amazing back yard and backs right onto the lake!
Had a great time at the Loons nest, and so happy that we ended up with that cabin as it backs right onto the lake, with a huge grass area for activities. The kayaks and water craft were a real bonus and can definitely say that I would like to stay here again! Definitely recommend :) clean cabin, nice bathrooms, washer and dryer if you need and just a great place to spend a couple nights.
Our 4th year in a row staying at the Loon's Nest and we love it! Manager was also super helpful and stopped by halfway through our 8 day to trip top us up on supplies.

Paradise
Had an amazing experience at the cabins. Made to feel at home by local community. Picturesque, secluded and cosy! Would recommend.
We have stayed at the Bears Den many times but decided to try the Loons Nest. It was all that we hoped for! The view from the porch is stunning and the firepit by the lake was perfect! The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds are wonderful and have beautiful duvets. We will definitely be staying agains!!
We had an amazing 4 days at Loon’s Nest. The weather was perfect, the log cabin had more than enough room for our group and the lakefront was amazing. We brought our own paddle boards but also enjoyed having access to a canoe and kayaks at the property. We hope we can visit again to explore the mountain bike trails nearby. Thanks for a great long weekend!
