"We loved our stay at Samplangan Penida Resort. The resort was beautiful, the infinity pool had exceptional views, and Ogi and her team were outstanding in making sure that we were well looked after in every respect. We had a total of 6 meals at the resort and everything was delicious. Even when the entire village had a blackout, the chef was able to prepare a really wonderful dinner for us. If you're thinking of visiting Nusa Penida, Samplangan Penida Resort IS the best place to stay. Period. "

"Lovely place but very out of the way nothing much around there only 1 resturant next door BE AWARE when we went which was 30 dec 2025 they did not have a resturant or a bar so no drinks or food also the main door did not shut no hot water in shower also website says breakfast but did not provide as no kitchen we booked 3 nights but left the next day sadly as was nye and and wanted more choice "

"this accommodation is basic and on an island with little transport options unless you have hired a scooter - the taxis are all locals and very expensive compared to grab and gojek which were used to using before we went to Nusa Penida. the hotel is very basic with no shops around or restaurants so not able to go and get anything from anywhere really "
