"A unique and lovely place to stay. We had stayed in the forest of Dean previously, only about a mile away, so we were familiar with the area. We had a good idea of where Zion Chapel would be but we were surprised at the delightfully elevated position essentially overlooking Upper Soudley. The chapel itself was and interesting building and full of character. It was comfortable and also very well equipped. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The outside area was also a nice space to be able to sit and take in the quiet surroundings. Can definitely recommend a walk through Soudley Ponds to Littledean and the Bespoke Brewing taproom."

"A well appointed - but well lived in home. A number of fittings feel rather dated, and kitchen and dining space rather cramped even for 4 adults and 2 children. Beds were incredibly soft and pillows also could do we with a refresh. Overall a comfortable stay, and the ability to access the forest from your doorstep is a definite bonus - however you do feel you are staying in someone else's home, rather than a guest house of similar bookable venue."
