Located amid the beautiful Nockberge mountains, Gnesau in sunny Carinthia is the perfect year-round starting point for various activities. Mountain hikers and bikers can visit Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Turracher Höhe, among others. By car, you can reach multiple bathing options within 15 to 30 minutes: the Ossiacher See, Millstättersee, and the Wörther See (busier) with, among others, the fashionable resort of Velden and numerous water sports possibilities. The Feldkirchen, Klagenfurt, and Villach cities are also well worth visiting and are easily reached by car. For winter sports enthusiasts, several ski resorts are within easy driving distance. The beautiful Bad Kleinkirchheim, with its more than 100 km of slopes and various thermal spas, and the very snow-sure ski area on the Turracher Höhe, can be found near this house.
