"The location of the hotel was convenient and the rooms were clean. There is technically no front desk, which was a bit strange and no number to call if there was an issue. We did have the power go out in the hotel for a couple of hours.. luckily it was around dinner time so we stayed out a bit longer. Staff was nice, but I would try a different hotel if I returned to Rome."

However, the building is old, meaning the floors are creaky and annoying at night if someone needs the washroom. Additionally, there was only one outlet in the room that was inconveniently placed over a bed."

"The hotel is directly across from the US Embassy, so there is plenty of security in the area. Streets are extremely clean and well maintained. Restaurants are everywhere with no less than 4 hotel restaurants within a 3 to 4 minute walk. Next door to the hotel is a very nice Hard Rock restaurant if you want that for a meal or drinks. If you are looking for a typical cafe for cappuccino and pastries, down the street on the left side of the hotel is a great cafe. Very inexpensive and open all day but the pastries won’t last. If you ask the front desk they will give you directions. It’s about a 3 minute walk. If you want a great dinner, go to Trastevere area of Rome. If you can’t find a great meal there, then you need help…lol"
