Great secluded spot on the river. Did a little fishing and explored away from the cabin. Peaceful, had everything we needed. Check in and check out was simple and easy. Wish we could have stayed more days.
This place was exactly as advertised with even more. We tubed, Kayaked and even played Golf at a great course there in town. The owner was very helpful and courteous! We will definitely come back.
We traveled to Arkansas to experience the Total Solar Eclipse. The property was nice and peaceful. We also had family in another cabin on site. Host was very easy to work with. Fun spaces, deck, firepit, porch, shared deck. Highly recommend.
Jason the property manager was outstanding! Great communication and responded very quickly. He even adjusted my stay dates and refunded (checked in on a cheaper date). My kids loved the river and the rocks. We made a fire at night and looked at the stars. Cabin was great and served its purpose for sleep. We were outside most of the time visiting Hot Springs. The only negative thing I can mention is the grill situation. They were very dirty and did not look enticing to grill on. We decided to cook hot dogs over the open fire and ate in Hot Springs instead. Still a great experience for me and my entire family. Plenty of room for the kids and again, loved the river, especially at sunset.
The cabin was beautiful, clean, and in a great area. We enjoyed our stay, and especially Hank, the black lab. There were definitely a few cons to the trip. The listing did not give an accurate detail of the river access. There is a very steep drop to the river with a metal ladder to go down. We were not very pleased with that. We ended up paying for access to River Run right down from us to get into the river there. The biggest issue our family had was the beds. The only beds that were worth sleeping on were the two twin beds. The queen beds & full size bed felt like we were sleeping on a piece of wood… It ended up being too much & some of our guest had to go home due to the sleeping arrangements being uncomfortable. We are so thankful for the experience & family time but will probably not stay here again unless something changes with the beds.
LOVED our stay at The Dreamcatcher! The grounds surrounding the property were beautiful and very well maintained. The cabin was clean and had everything our family needed. Jason was professional and kind with excellent recommendations on local fare and activities. 10 out of 10!
Came up to do a kayaking trip for my son’s graduation trip. We had a blast and loved the house! Perfect location and accommodations for our group. Will definitely book again!
I absolutely love this property! Only suggestion is maybe updating furniture and outside cushions. Other than that it is beautiful and perfect location!
This place was amazing. Super clean and beautiful inside and out. Brand new community deck overlooking the river.. The river was awesome to swim in . Ed were very comfortable. Everything you needed was there. We brought our food to cook. A great little restaurant right down the road. Mountains and national park was gorgeous.
Had a great stay and they had everything you needed to cook with. The only thing I wasn’t aware of before booking this location was the river access. You are not able to access the river from this location without going down a metal ladder after going down all the stairs. So if you plan on carrying a cooler, chairs, floats, etc. down and back up, good luck!! This location is also down the river from public access. We used River Run directly next door to the cabins to park the car (paid) and drove the other vehicle down to the trellis (public access) to float back down to the cabin area. The second day we just parked at River run and hung out on the rocks and didn’t float! Would book again now that I know what to expect.
P.S. AC worked great!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had 3 generations in the cabin and the property around the area was beautiful with fresh blueberries even! The outdoor fire pit area was great and the cabin was fully of cookware. NOTE: the access to the river is by an old metal ladder which doesn’t work for young kids or older adults. Couldn’t figure the coffee machine out but we are keurig users so I’ll leave it at all. 😊 We loved daily visits from Paul the black lab but Nellie the puppy was quite feisty and puppy-nibbled my kids quite aggressively. Ice and water on the fridge do not work so bring your own!
