「While the facilities provided in the apartment were as stated, the dark location at the rear of the building was disappointing with virtually no outlook. The constant humming from the electronics was particularly annoying to hearing aids. We never used the cooking facilities, so cannot comment. For a 1 week stay this is not a great facility and in our opinion is overpriced.」

「Communication from Karen leading up to our stay was excellent, meaning the caravan was very easy to find. Both in this communication and the handy folder in the caravan meant after a full day travelling and exploring getting there we were able to find somewhere to eat easily. 「We absolutely loved this cottage, peaceful location with stunning views of a 13th Century castle with hens, deer and bird life in your 'front garden'. Very clean and wonderful walks to the loch through woodland. Aldo great location to reach other parts of this wonderful isle of Mull. Richard and Kirsty are also are brilliant hosts. 「We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short.」

「This is a great place located around a mile or so from Strontian, off the beaten track. I had the twin (bunk bed) room in the bunkhouse next to the kitchen. Room was clean, tidy with a separate toilet, shower, sink. The TV and Freesat did not work (no channels) but frankly that didn’t matter as the weekend was about getting away from the Rat Race.
