Our stay had a bit of a challenging start, but overall it turned into a meaningful and enjoyable time with our family.At check-in, there was an issue with the entry code not working, and it took some time to get everything resolved. Communication was a little delayed initially, and we did end up waiting outside longer than expected in very cold, wet weather before being able to get inside. Once the right person arrived, we were able to access the home and get settled.That said, the home itself was exactly what we had hoped for. It is beautifully done, very clean, and just as pictured. The upstairs living space was especially wonderful for our large family - it gave us plenty of room to gather, share meals, and spend quality time together.The design of the home is thoughtful and unique. From the outside it has the look of a garage, but inside it has been finished with great care and creativity. We especially loved the decorative touches, like the canoe turned into a ceiling light fixture - such a fun and memorable detail. Everything felt brand new and well maintained.We also appreciated that the host was gracious and made an effort to make things right by the end of our stay, which meant a lot to us.Despite the rocky start, we were thankful for the time together as a family in such a lovely space.
