Summary:
Newly renovated Homestead condo includes 3 bedrooms plus a fold-out and couch sleeps 7. Splash your kayak in the river or stroll just a few steps across the bridge to the pristine beach on Sleeping Bear Bay. Enjoy your days on the beach or at nearby Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes and let the fabulous sunset views seal the deal on your memory bucket list! Minutes to Glen Arbor, Leland, Traverse City, wineries, great restaurants, the National Park, kayak and bike rentals and so much more!

The Space:
This unit is a 2nd floor condo. There is a twin bedroom on the main floor and upstairs there is the King bedroom and full bedroom with a trundle.

Beautiful lakefront property, also on the Crystal River. Town of Glen Arbor is very close. We enjoyed the town, all the fantastic hiking, and boating on Glen Lake- “On the Narrows Marina” was a great place to rent a boat.

The condo is beautiful and the view is amazing! Check in and communication was great. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and the grill for the building is a nice bonus. Would highly recommend.

The condo was very clean with good spaces and comfortable beds. It was a short walk to the beach with lots of sand and the lake was pretty shallow for a good distance. the kids enjoyed tubing down the river that dumped into Lake Michigan but a good sand bar which wasn’t that far of a walk down the beach from the condo. A short convenient drive into Glen Arbor. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the beach and sunsets.

Great place

Spent a few days here with my family( 2 adults 2 kids) Great location. Beach was beautiful. Water is shallow for quit a ways out so it was perfect with kids. Condo was super clean and had everything you need. Hosts were super helpful after a storm took out the power for a bit on our first day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

Great Glen Arbor Gathering

We love gathering with our adult kids to kick off summer together Up North! Glen Arbor is a beautiful area we all enjoy, and The Dragonfly was a comfortable space in a favorite spot!

Lovely Autumn get away

The Dragonfly was a wonderful beach condo and perfectly located. We had an amazing time exploring the area of Glen Arbor, Traverse City, Leland and Empire. Dragonfly was clean, cozy and fully equipped for all our needs. It was a perfect time of year for our color tour. The view of beautiful Lake Michigan with spectacular sunsets right from the balcony.

Breathtaking views with abundant wildlife.

The Dragonfly was exactly as expected. The location right on Lake Michigan with a darling creek running out front was superb. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and then some. The hosts were very attentive and quickly answered any questions we had. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

Great condo and location

This condo was situated perfectly just outside of the Glen Arbor downtown. The beach and water views were amazing and the entire place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fabulous!

This condo unit exceeded all our expectations. It is tastefully furnished and well equipped. For our young children the dhalloyriver just below was great for finding potaskeys and frogs. The beach is only a few steps beyond. The sunsets were spectacular and we would go back again next year.

Sibling Retreat

Dragonfly absolutely met our needs; close to hikes, golf, and beautiful beaches. The deck was great for sunsets! Kitchen was well equipped. Beds comfortable. Outdoor stairs were a bit slippery when wet so watch out.

Great place to stay

Overall this place had everything we needed, including great views. I wish I had heeded the advice about the bedrooms - we were two couples, and the third bedroom was basically off the table, as it lives within the primary suite. The remaining bedroom on the main floor had two twins, which worked fine for the quick visit. If the main floor bedroom had a full or queen bed, it might solve a lot for this place. Otherwise, very clean and great location, easy parking.

Awesome property! We'll be back!

I can't say enough great things about our stay. The location of the property was perfect. You have great views looking out the back decks and you're in walking distance to Cavanaugh's and Whiskers within the complex and a few minutes drive to Glen Arbor. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice. The house was stocked with more than enough essentials- Tupperware, storage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. This made it really nice for not having to make an extra store run for those little items that you forget. We also appreciate it all the extra bath and beach towels. This helps so that we weren't constantly washing our personal beach towels all week. The only very minor concerns that we had were that the hot water was finicky. Sometimes there was plenty. Other times you had a lukewarm shower. The heaters in bathroom helped but it would have been nice to get a hot shower throughout the week without freezing out your family during theirs. I believe the property advertised no pets. However, there was a significant amount of white dog hair throughout the property, especially on the couches and rugs. This isn't a problem for us because we don't have any allergies but I can see this would be concerning for others if this was the case. Thank you for a great stay! We can't wait to return.

An amazing week!

Our family had an amazing time at the Dragonfly! Everything we needed was within arm’s reach and you simply cannot beat how close to the Crystal River and Lake Michigan you are. Glen Arbor is a 5-minute drive and you can get to the dunes and points nearby within 15 minutes. The Homestead was fun to explore as well and our 5-year-old loved his daily golf cart rides with Darlene. Our hosts were responsive and helpful and we would definitely recommend the Dragonfly to anyone.

Beautiful condo and great location

We loved our stay at dragonfly. I think it works best for families with children as a top floor two rooms are connected without much privacy. Kitchen is well stocked, and the views from the balcony are perfect.

Great Family Vacation

I stayed at the property during July 4th week. The location was amazing with sunsets over Lake Michigan. It was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, kayaking, biking, golfing, shops and restaurants. The condo was incredibly clean and as was the property. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.

Beauty in northern Michigan!

Dragonfly was a great place for my family and I- comfortable beds, tons of pillows and blankets, great family room couches and well equipped kitchen. the location is phenomenal with a creek and the beach just steps out the door and close to so many hiking trails, beaches and little towns. The homestead resort itself is a little messed up in that they don’t allow you to use the resort part with the pool and beach chairs and the cafe manitou…but in the week we stayed here we really didn’t miss it- plenty of fun on the creek and beach- would highly recommend!
