A builder in the complex was very rude just because I used the path to the left in an small central distribution fountain they had in the way to the apartment, once we crossed paths and he told me why I didn’t use the other side…. Dirty common areas even with beer and cider cans on the floor, house smelling to cigarettes, also only decaf...

"Andy's place is ideal - a short walk from the bookshops and cafes of Hay, as well as from the Warren. There's a little playground nearby for younger children and the street is very quiet. The house is lovely - the rooms are spacious, the furniture beautiful and comfortable, and all the added extras (books, toys) were really thoughtful. A fabulous base for a tri to Hay-On-Wye."

"Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan. That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch."

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

"What a wonderful house. Perfect for our family get together. We didn’t have plans to go exploring but wanted somewhere that would suit the family to stay over the weekend for overdue family time. The house and pool were perfect. Spacious enough for 3 couples and a child to not feel hemmed in, designed perfect for family meals and quiet time alike. Many memories made and hopefully a future visit! Will miss our daily pool and sauna time! Highly recommend. "
