「The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) 」

「The staff at this property were extremely nice and friendly. The journey from Kigali however was stressful. I recommend renting a jeep or a car with high tires as the roads leading to the accommodation are bad. 」
