"Everything was perfect "

"The "innkeeper" John could not have been more accommodating or helpful during my brief stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I enjoyed my stay so much I would go back to Schenectady just to stay there again. I can't wait until the restaurant downstairs opens- it is such a cozy and welcoming place. The coffee shop in the lobby is bright and warm (and the coffee and cheese scones are excellent!) This is the opposite of staying in a chain hotel. All calm and charm. Thanks for a lovely stay, John. "

"All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful, however Casey provided especially attentive service, going above and beyond to make sure we were aware of all the services and amenities the hotel has to offer. We very much enjoyed our swim in the pool before dinner and the entire facility is one of the classiest I have ever stayed in. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Albany, NY."

"What a spectacular hotel! Everyone was friendly and very helpful! My belief is that it is the people who make a spectacular organization and this hotel has the best. The breakfast was made of real eggs with chives! None of those rubbery eggs from other establishments. The coffee in the room and in the breakfast area was excellent. The bed was spectacular and the shower was excellent! I will be back! Cynthia"
