The Perfect Adirondack Getaway Waterfront Cabin

"A classic woodsy cabin with all the modern amenities. Picturesque views of the river from front porch, living room, kitchen, and 2nd floor bedroom. In the morning you can look down the road, down-river and the morning light back-lights the leaves of trees and the light streams in the kitchen - we visited at peak fall colors - beautiful. Both front and side porches are large enough for everyone staying there to have plenty of room and the side porch is covered and screened-in so if it’s raining you can still hang out outside (I spent about 20 min out there in a hard, night-time thunderstorm watching the lightning light up the river and mountainside).Beds are very comfortable and the living room and kitchen accommodates a family for game-playing or watching a movie together. Kitchen large enough snd stocked sufficiently to be able to do as much or as little cooking as you want (even a rolling pin… make a pie?…!). Board games, plenty of outside chairs including a couple of folders that are great for going across the road to sit on the river banks. Access to the river is easy: just cross the road -River Road - it is small and there is no outlet - essentially no traffic when we were there in mid-October during the week.15 minutes to Northville, small Adirondack town with plenty of restaurant choices, supermarket, well stocked hardware store, coffee, etc."

"We had such a lovely stay! The space was really beautiful, clean, and cozy. The outside layout was really nice, complete with a really nice fire pit. Communication was great and they responded quickly to all messages. I highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely stay. The lake was right out the back door and the view was beautiful. We loved using the kayaks. The kitchen was well appointed with spices, but we needed our own condiments like ketchup, mayo, butter, etc. We appreciated that there were sheets and lots of towels and blankets for us to use. We really loved our stay and can't wait to come back!"

"We came up here for Columbus Day weekend. We’ve stayed in the area of Wells before but this was our first time at this house. It’s very cute and cozy. I especially liked the yard with it all lit up and made for nice nights by the fire pit. There’s also a small trail behind the house that was nice for a quick walk. The kitchen was filled with all you needed - pots, utensils, mugs, bowls, you name it. There’s plenty of games in the house too for the family. I had a small issue with the heat when we got there, but I was able to communicate with owner and got it rectified early the next day. There’s plenty to do in the area with hiking trails, visiting neighboring towns or simply relaxing by the lake. I love coming up here and will add this house to our list to visit again."

"WOW! Cabin doesn’t describe it. Recommend for the Adirondacks feel with GUEST HOUSE vibe. ALOT of space outside that’s well maintained . Spacious inside also. Fabulous decor with much attention to detail. Spotless. Gracious, kind, professional, friendly hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful (especially in the fall) area."
