Loved the more Spacious layout with one double bed in room with 2 comfortable chairs. In lieu of breakfast at the hotel, a discount was offered for nearby Perkins. Our room was very quiet.

It is a great value for the price. It is perfect for someone who doesn't care about all of extras like a continental breakfast. This is a very quiet hotel. I could barely hear the other guests. It has been updated and has nice, new furniture and a comfortable bed. The blackout curtains (room was completely dark despite having a light outside window), microwave and fridge (w/o freezer) were an added bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although someone, possibly cleaning staff, left their safety glasses in my room. The only part I didn't like was the dark hall with insufficient lighting, which was a little unsettling for a solo female traveler. And the light fixtures in the rooms were not as bright as they need to be.

It's an older hotel and not as fancy as some of the ones around it, but you can't beat the price, and the staff was nice. The room was plain but well kept and clean. Plenty of shampoo and conditioner and comfy beds. Dog approved as well:). Looking forward to staying on our way back through.

Not too bad.

This hotel was pretty average, not so bad but nothing to make it great. There wasn't enough parking and there wasn't any breakfast provided, though they offered a coupon to a local restaurant. Staff was friendly. It was affordable which made it ok.

Outdated but clean and comfortable

The building is old and definitely smells like it. The furniture in the rooms is somewhat stained and outdated. The shower floor was stained. The carpet could use to be replaced. BUT... The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean. Our room was quiet and clean, and we slept well. The hotel is old enough that the room doors are those old heavy fire doors and very solid-a huge plus!! Breakfast would be a nice added touch. I would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean reception not so good.

Most of the stay was good. Room was clean and comfortable. The part that was not so great was the check in. The gentleman be hind the desk was not friendly at all. He didn't even stand up to great us. He seemed upset that the card I reserved the room under had previously been cancelled due to a fraued issue that I had.

Separate entrance for railroad employees but nothing directing you to public guest entrance. Air conditioning unit extremely loud when it came on, woke us up every time it came on. Remote had dead batteries. Alarm clock did not work. Staff not very friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, ironing supplies and hair dryer all available.

The log in book for the hotel’s employees was sprawled out on the front counter where guests check in. It was inappropriate, tacky, and probably not very secure for the hotel. The desk area behind the counter was quite a mess as well. My room was clean and comfortable so I still rate it a 4 but the check in counter needs a bit of professional attention!

The property needs an elevator! Or it needs to mention that there are no elevators in the details. Also didn't like a toilet that is very stained and has no seat cover. The shower floor was also stained & looked dirty. But with that said it was & quiet & mostly clean & comfortable.
