À éviter

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cette guest mais pas une de plus. Le personnel est très accueillant mais la propreté de la chambre laisse à désiré. Ca sentait l'humidité, la salle de bain n'était pas propre et sentait les égouts. Pendant la dernière nuit l'électricité de la chambre (que des chambres, pas l'extérieur...) c'est éteint donc le ventilateur ne marchait plus et il faisait une chaleur étouffante. Le petit déjeuné est très légé (un œuf et une tranche de pain). La climatisation est une option (presque aussi cher que le prix de la nuit). On ne reviendra pas.

Helt perfekt til prisen!

Jeg havde en rigtig god oplevelse i dua Nina. Man får hvad man betaler for, men det er en helt fantastisk oplevelse man får med de lokale. Tono,sadin,raka,iwan,Jack er nogle af de sødeste mennesker i Bali. Jeg tror ikke at jeg har mødt så søde mennesker på et homestay. Der er også rigtig fin morgenmad, hvor man kan vælge i mellem nogle forskellige retter. Og så kan man få kaffe eller te. Man kan leje cykler, snorkel, og leje ture. Vi var på en snorkel tur rundt om de tre giliøer. Det var fuldstændigt fantastisk. Deres værelser er også helt okay, og jeg sov helt igennem på trods af at der ikke var airconditionen på vores værelse. Hver dag kom staffet med et kæmpe smil og sagde: You Happy, we Happy! Simpelthent bare helt fantastisk at vågne op til. Beliggenhedsmæssigt kan man gå eller cykle til alt. Øen er rigtig lille, og der er ingen biler. Så at gå fra homestayet eller cykle er helt optimalt. Det er selvfølgelig ikke et luksus resort, MEN det har helt bestemt sin charme og varme, som intet luksus resort kan give en. Derfor anbefaler jeg hvis man vil bo billigt, med varme, lokal charme og helt iorden forhold at man lejer sig ind her. Jeg har boet mange steder, og det her er anbefalelsesværdigt. Jeg glæder mig til at besøge dem igen næste gang jeg kommer til Bali, og jeg anbefaler alle mine venner at komme herhen uden tvivl. De spiller også musik hver dag, og chiller bare max men på en professionel måde. Tusinde tak for et behageligt ophold Dua Nina Homestay! knus fra Dk!!!:)

If you want something cheap

This hotel is ok if you want something cheap. It haves a good location, you can go walking to the main street and beach but is quiet at night. Avoid it if you are going to spend much time in the hotel because there is a masjid nearby and they speak on the microphone all time, it is annoing. We paid U$8 for a fan room, if you can, get the AC room because it is really hot! Room is basic, but ok, staff make a good breakfast every morning :)

Staff make the place

The staff are lovely, very helpful at all hours and make a great breakfast. The room is basic but clean, the shower is cold and smells odd when you turn it on but in the heat a cold shower is fine. The location is very convenient, quiet but not far away from shops, restaurants and bars. For the price it's a great place if you're looking for a simple room for a few nights.

- Sehr nettes, junges Personal - Guter Service - 10 min Fußweg zum Strand - Lage stimmt leider überhaupt nicht mit den Angaben der App oder Google Maps überein. - Bad leider sehr verkalkt und teilweise Abfluss Geruch, ansonsten saubere Unterkunft - wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Ventilator. Die Klimaanlage der Nachbarn hört man sehr laut

Morgenmaden var et kæmpe plus! Generelt set var vi tilfredse med opholdet, fordi det var billigt, det lå forholdsvis tæt på centrum, servicen var fin og værelset var fint at sove i. Hvis man ønsker at bruge meget tid på hotellet er dette ikke stedet.

Decent location, bad hotel

After traveling Southeast Asia for months on a meagre budget I can say that Dua Nina was one of the more disappointing places I stayed on the entire trip, and my expectations for budget accommodations are not very high. The room was sauna hot the whole time we stayed there and the fan was too high to help anything. There was also an ant infestation throughout the entire room. The bathroom was the worst part. It was unclean, it smelled terrible all the time and neither the shower or the sink worked properly. We had to wash our hair with the toilet sprayer to get more than a trickle of water. I was extremely uncomfortable leaving anything of value in the room. The lock was a small padlock, and the hinges to lock it to the door were falling off so it was almost completely useless. The only good thing was that the staff were nice and friendly. Overall, I would not recommend Dua Nina to anyone.

Changed to Other Hotel without Prior Notification

Called by guesthouse owner in the afternoon asked where were us at that time and whether they could picked us up in the Gili Trawangan harbor. In the first time I thought that this owner was very nice & care but unfortunately when me & my family finally arrived in the evening, some guesthouse's staffs picked us & accompanied us to other guesthouse which actually was not Dua Nina, without any prior information or notification... They said in Dua Nina only small rooms left and didn't have any more big room due to our booking was for 4 persons though in booking website when we booked the room was still available..actually the truth was they sold our room to other guests which came earlier than us even we already booked the room and paid it fully from 1 week before!... We really disappointed with their service though they gave us compensation of free bicycle rental charge after we asked them, really disappointing service :(

Don't stay here!

First off, place is extremely hard to find. Not where it says it is, make sure to ask the locals where it is, we walked around the island with our backpacks for over an hour until we found the place. Second, if you go to gili t, get a room with a/c, it's worth it, rooms are brutally hot and sweaty with just a fan. We did not go for the complimentary breakfast just because nothing looked overly sanitary, do yourself a favour and go to la dolce vita, so good there :). Cold showers only, not necessarily the worst thing though, just because the room was hot. The only positive thing I would have to say is that the staff was friendly. Otherwise not very good value for your money, go somewhere else unless you're desperate!

Not worth it

For the price we paid to stay here, it was definitely not worth it. I've been budget traveling for many years and usually you get what you paid for, but when you pay $30/night, and you get this quality, it really puts you in a bad mood. Wifi was extremely poor. Everything in the bathroom was crusted. The drainage in our sink was so crusted that hardly anything would go down. The shower head was crusted over so water only came out of a few holes. The toilets wouldn't flush properly most of the times. The breakfast was very slim. I am quite sure that the fried noodles that I got for breakfast was just instant noodles you can buy anywhere.

A highly recommended budget option

Dua Nina Homestay is a youthful budget option, but a really good one. We didn't expect too much, and ended up really enjoying our stay. The room was simple, with a bed, a fan, and a small table, and it's equipped with a private bathroom. The shower doesn't have hot water (like you are going to need it in these temperatures?). The room temperature was tolerable with the fan, though often it gets hotter inside the room than outside on the yard, when the sun has set. The yard has some small tables, and it's a good place to relax, have a nice breakfast and get to know other travellers. The breakfast options are simple but tasty. The service in Dua Nina Homestay is exceptional. The guy working there was the nicest, very hospitable and always happy to help. Even though Dua Nina is certainly not a fancy hotel, the people working there made us really feel comfortable and welcome.

Stay away!

Almost impossible to find. Muld on walls. Not clean at all. When we moved in the cleaning guy came and sprayed something (!) in the bathroom and under the bed (to kill stuff?), smelled like a dead cat. Cold water (as most homestays but this one was really cold). Never going back.

Good for a cheap, no frills stay

It is a very basic honestly but it's comfortable and the staff were always friendly and helpful. If you want cheap, no frills accommodation, go for it. The rooms don't have aircon but the fans keep it cool enough to sleep and there's not hot water but the cool water is a relief from the heat outside. Clean and all you need for somewhere to crash - I would stay here again for a cheap stay.

Helt okej!

Som titeln säger så tyckte jag och min flickvän att det var ett helt okej homestay för det priset. Positivt - Helt underbart skön personal. Schyssta, socialiserar gärna, hjälper till med allt man ber om, tex. att boka snorklingsturer, hyra cyklar, boka resa tillbaka till Bali/Lombok osv. Frukosten var god, om än i det mindre laget. Att det var ett stort rum hör också till det positiva! Negativt - ingen ac, bara en väldigt liten fläkt som inte hjälper speciellt mycket. Rummet hade en tendens att bli extremt varmt, mycket varmare än utomhus märkte man på morgonen. Badrummet var väldigt slitet, hål i kaklet och inget varmvatten. Dåligt tryck i duschen, så för dem med långt hår får man vara bredd på att duscha länge i kallvatten. Madrassen hade massa hål så man låg väldigt ojämnt, samma gäller kudden. wi-fi var i det långsammaste laget! Men man får vad man betalar för, ett rum för natten!

Lovely place!!!

Great Homestay! Really quiet and relaxing and only 5-10 minutes walk to the main street! The staff was very friendly and helped me with everything i asked about. I will definitely come back and stay there again!

Cheap no thrills stay

stayed for 3 nights, staff Friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok. Place lacks natural light which adds to stuffy conditions inside the rooms. The rooms need a bit of tlc, especially bathroom.
