「Notre séjour a été merveilleux grâce au personnel toujours prêt à aider et très chaleureux. Notre chambre était disponible avant l’heure et l’hôtel proche du port est situé en plein centre de la rue commerçante. Nous avons loué des vélos à l’hôtel pour faire le tour de l’île mais nous avons passé aussi du temps à pied à cause du sable notamment coté Sunset où il y a beaucoup de beach club. Attention vers 15h30, c’est marée basse de ce côté.」

「はっきり言って、この宿泊代を出すなら、ほかのところえ、泊まることをすすめます、部屋は、蚊が多くて、タオル以外何も、備え付けがなく、夜の食事でも、出るのが遅く、結局いろいろ注文しても最後にこれはありませんとのこと、隣のホテルに行きました、朝食も3島の中で1番悪いです、オナー、、マネジャーがヨーロッパの若い女性で、まだ、行き届いてない感じです」

「一見するとホテルなのか民家なのか分かりにくいですが、ギリにあるチドモを使うと運転手さんならわかりますのでたどり着けます。若い男性3人で経営しているようですが、いずれも感じがよくお話好きの方達です。朝食も無料で2日目には２食も無料で出していただきました。」

「I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay: a fridge, drinking water, AC, and hot water. 「SCAM. Nothing like pictures. Building area looked like a slum. Disgusting room. Previous flooding visible on the walls. No desk to talk to just a phone service where the so called manager promised a refund as we could not stay there. Weve found other honest operators on gili t, so cant get our money back but hope this serves as a warning. After speaking to locals we were told tgeyhave been scamming people for ages, so why are still on expedia??」

「The ad is misleading because it is not located on the beach - it is a 5 minute walk inland. You have to type in 'Joevanna Cottage' (with 2 n's) into Google Maps to find the correct location. Also, there are small ants in the room. It was only for one night so it was ok. The plus is that there was hot water for the shower.」
