「Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)」

「Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.」

「What a lovely gem of a place which was so welcoming and provided simply the best breakfast you could wish for. What with their own chicken eggs, sausages and fresh home baked bread, you can't go wrong! Janet is a lovely lady who likes to make you feel very welcome. I will be re visiting for sure」
