"The staff was great - friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast on the premises. There was plenty of a/c which was most important. I paid extra to use the pool facility. The pool was small and crowded. Children were jumping in and no rules were enforced. If you want to cool off the pool is worth it but otherwise it wasn't great. Overall I recommend the hotel. Enjoy the food and great atmosphere at the bar."

"A beautiful old building set in immaculately curated grounds! All in all a lovely stay at a reasonable price. Friendly staff throughout, especially Adam who was working in the bar! The breakfast was a little slow (had to wait 20mins to be seated despite saying what time we were having breakfast the day before) but was tasty. We had a lovely stay at Tylney and would recommend"

"A clean well equipped hotel with super helpful staff. We were travelling from Devon to see a show in London so getting back home on same night not possible. This was a third of the cost of london equivalent hotels but far better than most. Plenty of late trains to Basingstoke leaving us closer to home after a sleep in a very comfy bed."

"Had a great one night stay in two double rooms. Plenty of parking. Warm and welcoming staff. Great food and service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and in the bar and outside terrace area. Used the gym which is small but well equipped. Overall an enjoyable stay and will go again."
