"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "Lovely second stay at the Nautilux. We stayed in a patio hot tub room again, with half board, which suited us perfectly. The staff are all great, exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. There wasn’t much in the way of evening entertainment, but that suited us. The food was always freshly prepared, and delicious. The indoor spa is excellent and we enjoyed the steam room and sauna and a treatment. We also did palates and boot camp which was great too. One of the very best hotels we have stayed in!"

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, stylish hotel. Our room was incredibly spacious, and the private deck offered a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to choose from. The location is perfect, close to town but still peaceful, and the staff was exceptionally helpful with local restaurant recommendations and activity suggestions"

"The hotel is clean, had great vibe and interior design. Amenities include a small gym with good equipment and a yoga studio. Good was fantastic, great section for meat and non-meat eaters. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and good service. Good selection of pools, just have to be up early for main pool ‘best’ beds, with canopies. Can’t fault the hotel but was disappointed with the reception service. We went for our honeymoon and pre-told the hotel. We weren’t given an upgrade like many couple we spoke to and like many reviews show. We actually were given a different room for the 1st night because our original room was broken. Meaning we had to move room the following morning and couldn’t unpack and relax the night of arrival. The room was bigger and reception made it sound like they were giving a complimentary upgrade (for 12 hours), though it was only because they had to and it actually gave us more inconvenience. As a ‘sorry’ we got given the same fruit platter and sparkling that we would have got anyway as it was our honeymoon. After that bad start the rest of the stay was lovely. "

"It’s a pretty decent resort, but the overall feel is more tailored towards families with kids and less for romantic couples. Would recommend for families but couples seeking for a romantic time might want to look elsewhere."
