"An extremely beautiful hotel, built of stone, in the Greek style. Resting here, it is as if you fall into an interesting story. All the staff, especially Helen and Yanis, are very friendly. The food is extremely tasty and varied. Many thanks to the cook. There was always hot water, the rooms were constantly cleaned .We are very satisfied with our vacation at Village Stone. We want to come back again."

"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

The local area is proper authentic Greece at its finest and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have been happier and would certainly go back. "

"Just got home from a truley magical stay at Mountain View. A wonderful villa with everything you need for the whole family. Absolutely brilliant pool and gardens and large roof terrace with stunning views. "An excellent villa could not fault it and the owners were lovely"

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"The villa was exactly as we imagined it. The location is great and you can reach the town center in just a few minutes on foot. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was even a grill (which was a bit small for 11 people although). If there was a problem, Lucy and her husband were always there to help immediately. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!"

One of the best villas we’ve ever stayed in and the villa owners/ managers on hand were great. Location is good for the town (although the town is limited) but the views gardens and isolation of the villa is great. Would 100% stay here again"

"We have had a great time at this hotel. Plenty of great dining options, multiple swimming pools, sea access was great. Perhaps the biggest highlight was the staff, they were lovely and super helpful any time we needed anything. The only slight negative we found was the lack of lactose-free yoghurt, which was surprising given the multitude of options otherwise. It would have been nice to be able to try the yoghurt, but sadly this made it impossible for us."
