"Loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely stay again. Our experience from check-in to checkout was great. The staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are lovely and we just loved the pillows in the room. The hotel should offer the pillows for sale as a service. The hotel in a great location with plenty of food/restaurant options close by. The buffet breakfast had a decent variety and was well stocked. Again, the staff at the restaurant were excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel. The only criticism I would have is that the parking is extra and a bit expensive."

"Central, well priced and easy to access. Only 500m from Barwon Health, I booked this very last minute so I could be nearby an unwell family member, and the Eastern Sands staff could not have been more accommodating with my booking and late check in instructions. The room is basic but spacious, comfy bed and hot shower- you don't need much more. Walking distance to the CBD, hospital and waterfront. Off street parking. Rooms are not very soundproof, but I was that tired the noise from next door and the street wasnt that bothersome at all."

"I needed a cheap room to stay overnight. It was perfect for my needs. If I was looking to stay longer I would most likely looked for somewhere more suitable. It was perfect for my overnight stop. Its a shared bathroom, toilet etc. Your just renting a small room with a tv, and a kettle."

"The hotel was nice, the rooms were a little dated and they were also hot. Couldn’t get the rooms cool or below 19.C. Overall buffet brekky was great and the stay was nice."
