Me and my wife loved our stay here, the hotel is great, the location is perfect for wandering the streets of the old town. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was amazing. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!
Excellent stay in a really cool place! Right in the middle of everything, walkable and overall perfect location! Historic charm, clean, comfortable, and beautiful!
Very clean, well located property in a desirable part of Gdansk, close to shopping, restaurants and the river. Comfortable rooms but note that is no elevator.
Nice and classy, boutique hotel with friendly staff, right in the center of the most beautiful old town, next to St. Mary's Church. Enjoy great restaurants, coffee's and galore of amber jewelry.
Nice small hotell very central in old town. Very good lady behind the counter. Well tasting breakfast in cooperation with the Mexican restaurant next door.
Gotyk House was a great choice for our 3 day stay in Gdansk. It’s close proximity to the center of town made it convenient as we barely had to walk to reach the main attractions. Rooms had all the amenities you could think of, and the hotel staff were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
Like: excellent location, historic building, quiet, comfortable and clean.
Dislike: we requested a room for 3 adults (a queen bed with a pull out bed). Once the pull out bed was set up there was very little room to move around. Room would have been fine for 2 adults.

Great Location
Lots of stairs to thw room, the AC didn't work very well and the shower hot water was out of control scalding hot. But, the location was great.
I had a very elegant clean room with a comfortable bed and pretty lights. The staff were nice and helpful.
Walkable distance to 2 stations and very central in the old town of Gdańsk.
There was some noise from the downstairs restaurant but I guess it's normal at weekends and I didn't go to sleep early anyway.
Nice hotel and room but windows are paper thin so you can’t sleep until the bars directly below the hotel close. Air con unit beeps every 10 mins when turned on so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll be up all night or switch the air con off and be hot.

A bit of a disappointing stay for us. Amazing location and very nice renovations, room is beautiful. But walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. There are no products in the washroom and even though it’s indicated that there is AC we couldn’t get it to work. When we tried to contact reception no one was there and no one was contactable.
It was very hot in the room, not comfortable at all.
This fine little hotel can’t be beat for location, convenience and charm. The staff were very helpful. There is no elevator and quite a lot of stairs, so it won’t work for everyone. I stayed in the adjacent annex (Gotyk2) and found it very comfortable. My room was directly atop a Mexican restaurant that could get a bit loud late into the night. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast itself but guests can pay for a breakfast at the restaurant. I did that once. A Mexican-inflected breakfast wasn’t really what I was looking for in Gdansk. If you can wait until 9am, you can get a lovely breakfast at Drukarnia just down Mariacka Street.
Beautiful room, and great stay overall, the only negative is that we stayed on a ground floor and even with double doors we could hear the entry, so not very soundproof, but it didn’t bother us much as the reception was closed after 8. Also the blinders weren’t blocking light much, but that’s also just a minor improvement. Really comfortable, clean and functional room. I’d stay there again.
