Queen of the Hills, The Perfect Cabin!

Boasting unique architecture mixed with classic Smoky Mountain style, the newly renovated Queen of the Hills is a cozy and inviting 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin for up to 10 guests in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. A regal entrance welcomes you here, perched peacefully among the trees of the Smokies. You'll notice the great outdoor amenities at first glance, including a firepit with seating all around, a dual gas/charcoal grill for cookouts, flat parking, and a picnic table for outdoor meals or drinks.

When you step inside, Queen of the Hills feels cozy and warm. Unwind on the sofas, flip on the flatscreen TV to watch some shows, or curl up with a good book. The fully equipped kitchen is just steps away, outfitted with stainless steel appliances and plenty of dishes and small gadgets for meals and snacks in the cabin. Sit down at the dining table here, too, which sits beneath a unique industrial light fixture.

When you want to play, have fun with the full-size pool table or board games in the cabin! You'll also have high-speed internet so you can stay connected. And when it's time to relax, head to the loft space to unwind in the chair with an ottoman or chat in the chairs. At night, enjoy queen beds and twin-over-full bunk beds for some welcome rest.

Cabin needs some things fixed

Well if it wasn't for the bears visiting us we would of probably left. Blender in kitchen didn't work. Downstairs shower didn't work. Jetted bathtub did not work.. We were told that they were gonna have hot tub fixed by spring and when we got there no water in hot tub. Called them and lady on phone said they were going to remove it from property... inside could of been cleaned better and pool table in basement was too big for room and uneven. Would be nice for the money we paid to fix some of these item but the bears were pretty cool ....

Poor management and cleanliness

Cabin was dirty with lipstick on mirror and dirt of floor of basement and dead bug throughout the cabin understand that it is a cabin in the woods but not acceptable if you have cleaners that come for each rental. On arrival front door was already unlocked and had 2 fire alarms chirping in the home for dead batteries something the cleaning company or crew could have noticed when cleaning the home. When I called maintenance I told them that they had wasps flying around the home and we had a guest who was allergic to the stings then was told to keep them away from the wasp. Pest control showed up a whole day later to spray.

Very upsetting we had bears coming to the hot tub. The first day we got here and I asked for them to come clean it. They kept postponing it till the next day never came. It’s time for me to check out. They gave me a late check out because of the inconvenience supposedly were to have someone come clean the hot tub the morning of so that I could enjoy it before leaving never came Since I’ve been here we have bears in the property. Couldn’t enjoy our outside stay we were stuck the whole time we couldn’t even cook out because the Bears kept coming back which I understand. The Bears are gonna come no matter what but the cleaning and the miscommunication with staffing sucks Not be staying here ever again

Cabin was back by its self which was nice , although the outside of the cabin was very dirty and the weeds around the cabin were very tall ,the porch chairs where pretty filthy but was able to be wiped off with wash cloth ,plenty of wildlife to see we had bear within feet of us daily, as for the inside of the cabin it was everything the pictures show the room the pool table is in is quite small for a pool table and there where quite a few cobwebs inside the windows and window sills, the air conditioning system could definitely use some updating as it took hours to cool the cabin down,

Review

The cabin was nice and in a great area, my only complaint is that the door way leading to the basement had no door, & we had my 8 month old son who was in a walker and had to block it with chairs from the table so he wouldn’t fall down. The cleanliness of the cabin was decent, there was dead bugs on the counter by the sink and in the sink other than that it was fun!

Beautiful view

The property was beautiful and spacious for our group. Very clean on inside. The hot tub was drained and filthy. There was not wood for the fire pit or fire place. I than than that was a nice place just we had been able to utilize the outdoor things and fire place

Bears

Don’t forget to lock your cars. We did and three bears gently cleaned out our vehicles. They didn’t do any damage they just opened the doors, crawled on in, and pulled out all the food and drinks they could find and proceeded to eat every bit of it. They weren’t aggressive and caused no harm but they also weren’t easily scared off. They didn’t care one but that we were trying to get them to go away. My kids thought it was great though.

The worst experience ever

I usually rent houses and cabins in Vrbo and this is my first time renting thru an agency instead with the owner. Also, this is my first time writing such as bad review like this below: 1.- It was the worst stay ever, 3 nights and 4 days with no water in any room, can you imagine10 adults including 3 seniors with no water for anything? We had to spend a lot of money buying gallons of water in the Food City market near closest to the cabin. 2.- Its unbelievable the agency is not able to solve a problem like this. I can understand the weather conditions, but its their responsibility create the solutions to assure a good and safe stay of their customers. Its impossible cabins don't have any tool or procedure to fix the frizzed pipes. If not, at least, provide water using a different way. 3.- We saw cockroaches in the kitchen. 4.- There was not enough blankets for all bedrooms. 5.- It was very difficult the communication with the customer service, taking long time to take our calls. So, we couldn't enjoy our stay at all, making calls, waiting for response, etc... My advise, try always deal with owners.

The perfect cabin!!

We traveled to this cabin for my birthday and it was the perfect spot! I absolutely love Gatlinburg and I loved how close the cabin was to everything, while also being secluded in the mountains. Communication between the rental company was great during our stay. Would definitely recommend this cabin! It was the perfect size and the layout was perfect! The hot tub was a group favorite for sure! Thanks for a great stay!

Last minute trip

So our florida trip got cancelled because of the hurricane so we last minute booked this cabin instead. Its a great cabin, nicely secluded/private. Everything was clean including hot tub. All of the smart tv’s/wifi actually worked which is rare in my experience at least. Had a bear walk right by us near the firepit. 5 stars great time

The cabin & outside area was nice. Nice get away experience! If you use map quest and it says you've arrived and you see nothing...Keep going straight the road ends at the cabin!!! You will be happy at the sight. Doesn't have a view except in top bedroom window and its just a peep during summer.It is stated in description best view during winter...and I bet its beautiful!!!

Gatlinburg 2002 Adventure

This cabin is by far the best place we have stayed in Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean, spacious and a fabulous location. Only 5 minutes from Gatlinburg.
