Nature Lives Here Too
This is a mountain cabin surrounded by trees—expect a few uninvited guests: bugs, leaves, pollen, and the occasional spider or mouse looking for warmth in winter.
Outdoor cushions may be damp after rain, and leaves or pollen may settle on the deck.
Our home is professionally cleaned and regularly treated for pests, but nature has a way of reminding us we’re in her backyard.
Mountain Driving & Winter Weather
Roads are paved and plowed, but winter storms may affect driving.
4WD or chains recommended in snowy conditions.
We highly recommend trip insurance to protect against weather-related cancellations or road closures.
Steep Driveway Alert
Short steep downward-sloped driveway. Recommended to park at top of snowy.
Bear Country Guidelines
Bears are strong, smart, and have a sense of smell 7x better than a bloodhound.
LOCK your car doors. Do not leave food or trash outside unattended—it’s basically a dinner bell.
Enjoy bear sightings from a safe distance. No selfies, please .
