First and foremost let me say that this cabin was beautiful, clean and the location was great. I’d give 5 stars but there are some very small things I had “issue” with that I didn’t like. First small issue was the lack of useful items in the cabin. I’ve stayed at multiple Air BnBs where former guest left seasonings in the kitchen, dish detergent, toilet paper etc, but this cabin come with very little items and per the resort’s request, nothing is to be left in the kitchen for the next guest. That leads to purchasing those types of items and then throwing them away once you leave which is just wasteful. I can’t fly with kitchen and bathroom stuff, and whose gonna try to find a local shelter to give it to while on vacation lol. Second small issue was that if you didn’t call for trash service, no one would pick it up. With a cabin that size you’d like to think trash service would come at least once a week but it didn’t. However when I called they came within the hour. I also recommend some sort of recycling bin which would lead to less trash in the cans. Lastly was the pool room. Awesome set up and it was used daily, but b/c the thermostat is secured we couldn’t use the a/c unit which made that room steamy and muggy. Swimming was nice but it was too hot to relax next to the pool. Yes these are minor things but the cabin wasn’t cheap so at that price point I expected the absolute best. Other than those things, this place was awesome and it was close to everything!
