We had a great time but the firepit didn’t work, the hot tub needed chemicals, the cleaners were there when we arrived at 4 so we had to wait 30 minutes to get in and we tried to use the karaoke machine batteries were dead in the microphone. The code didn’t work the first day to the door. The heat upstairs was so hot we had to turn it off and then got too cold.

Elisabeth and Cassidy were wonderful, and very welcoming! The place was beautiful and we just loved the layout. The view was also beautiful! The front porch and the deck patio were covered in leaves, which I swept because I didn't want to track the leaves in the house. It would have been nice if a leaf blower had been available. The bedrooms were very cozy and we appreciated the window treatments so we could sleep in without having the sun blasting in like some rentals.The Keurig coffee pot didn't work properly because it was missing the spring mechanism that allows the coffee to drip in the carafe, but no big deal, we just bought some K-pods and used that instead. Also, the dishwasher didn't work properly, it would never fill up with water so handwashing was done instead.Other than that we had a wonderful time, and we were so grateful to be able to stay an extra day. I would definitely recommend to others.Susan Brewer

The shower had mold in it. The pans were greasy. The master bedroom was listed as a queen bed but was only a double. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was so hot in the house at night we had trouble sleeping. There were solid glass doors going out to the porch and a bear was at the door and could have broken the glass and may have if our dog hadn’t barked at it. Unsafe set up. Toilets too low. Not a good house for seniors. No grass for dog.

This house was a disappointment! It looked nothing like the photos on the VRBO website. The front porch and door were dirty. When we walked in the first thing we saw was a dirty, scuffed up wall and stairs. The kitchen appliances were outdated. The deck was filthy and the seating was not as shown on the website. One of the fire extinguishers was last inspected in 2021 and a maintenance man came to remove an inoperable smoke detector and the propane tanks from the grill and fire pit. He also informed us that the fire marshal was there before we arrived and threatened to shut the house down that day and not allow us to stay there.

Had a blast at the Victorian. We definitely saw bears, and even saw one within an hour of arriving. It was very close to the downtown Gatlinburg area. Other reviews noted the single lane road leading up the mountain to the place. We only once encountered another vehicle in the road up the mountain, but I understand how that can be a little unnerving.

The house was beautiful outside and inside. All 4 of us had somewhere separately to sleep, nice bathrooms and the hot tub was delightful. The property manager sent me a text making sure I got in okay and asked if I needed anything. Thought that was very polite. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend stay!

A Great Stay!

The property, both inside and out, is absolutely stunning! Tucked right into the mountain makes for a perfect morning on the porch. The house was stocked with games my kids (aged 11, 8, and 6) loved. The location is just a stones throw away from anything you want to do in Gatlinburg and a 25ish minute drive to Pigeon Forge. We even saw two bears right from the front porch! The only negatives were there were some spots that the cleaning crew missed. We found some dried toothpaste on the side wall of one of the bathrooms, and there were quite a few dead bugs on ledges that looked like they had been there a while, which is why I gave cleanliness 4 stars instead of 5. Also, the private road to get up to the house could be tricky to navigate as it is steep and super narrow, which is why I gave location 4 stars, but neither of these would deter me from booking this place again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Gatlinburg Getaway

My family and I vacationed in Gatlinburg for a week. This house was perfect for a family of 4. The house was well equipped for a weeks stay. Be sure to lock your vehicles and properly dispose of trash.. you will see bears in your driveway!Overall nice house and great location.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is incredibly well situated to access everything in the area and avoid the Gatlinburg hustle and bustle when getting around.

Beautiful place to stay!

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful house! It was close to town but tucked away so you felt the coziness of nature! Couldn’t have asked for a better host! We had one question while we were there and got a very quick response. Very clean and had everything you would need while away from home! We would definitely go back!!

GREAT WEEKEND

Wonderful!

I really enjoyed my stay. The property was quiet and clean. It was very easy to get in contact with the property if I had any issues. The code for the door gave me some issues but other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

Cassidy was amazing from the start till end. The property is beautiful and cozy. And the view is breathtaking! Definitely recommend going here for your Gatlinburg stay.

Expectations!!

Yes check-in easy but location very hard to find - never found Holly Branch Drive street sign / GPS no good as we had no signal / Very narrow, windy and long one-way drive up to location so pray you don't meet a car coming down from adjacent houses / Nice house with view / quiet / bed very comfortable / had a few issues with coffee pot and TV usage / texted owner via the phone number provided first day of arrival - never received a response or reply / just expressing my honest feedback / would i stay there again? - probably yes as I would be better prepared knowing what to expect next trip
