One of a kind Victorian Home! Gatlinburg + Free Tickets!

  • Idyllic Victorian is exactly what its name promises — a stylized Victorian-style cabin tucked just off Ski Mountain Road, 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. It doesn't look like any other cabin in the Smokies, and that's the point: arched windows, designer interiors, a leather-seated living room around a gas fireplace, and a deck with a hot tub, fire pit, and new lounge seating built for unwinding after a day on the Parkway.



    The home sleeps up to eight, but it's at its best as a getaway for two couples, a small family, or anyone who'd rather come home to character than to another log cabin. Pet-friendly (one dog, $100 pet fee, no breed or size restrictions).



    Best for: couples, small families, and travelers who want a stylish basecamp 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.

    - Outside: spacious deck with private hot tub, working fire pit, and all-new outdoor furniture

    - 1.5 miles to downtown Gatlinburg

    - 11 miles to The Island in Pigeon Forge

    - 13 miles to Dollywood



    A note on the drive: this is a true mountain home — the access road off Ski Mountain Rd is steep and winding, and we strongly recommend AWD or 4WD November through March. Mountain views are seasonal and clearest when the leaves are down (roughly Nov–Mar).



    Exterior security cameras only (driveway and entrance) — no cameras inside the home or in any private areas.



    Your stay also includes $940 in complimentary activity tickets — one free admission per day at Dollywood, Ober Mountain Aerial Tramway, and other top Smokies attractions.

We had an amazing visit in Gatlinburg staying at the Idyllic Victorian. The host was incredibly accomodating. The house was perfect for four adults with comfortable beds and all of the amenties one could want. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Complete waste of money. For the high price charged, the quality was unacceptable. The master bedroom mattress was in terrible shape—sagging badly in the middle and leaving me with severe back pain for days. On top of that, the toilet flush didn't work properly, and basic essentials like bathroom soap weren't even provided. At this rate, you expect comfort and proper maintenance, not a ruined back and missing basics.

The house overall met all our needs. Sadly, the amenities don’t match the listing. The linens need a serious upgrade…and the pillows…OMGosh…horrible. Light bulbs out, previous renters towels on the back of the door. Only three coffee cups. Only closet for use upstairs…full of “stuff”. Needs a very deep clean and a fresh coat of paint.

This home was a wonderful little retreat up on the hill above Gatlinburg! The hot tub was great for relaxing in after hikes. There is a little game room tucked down a hall in one of the bedrooms that has a futon that folds down into a bed which was convenient for traveling with children. Elizabeth was very responsive to any questions I had which helped with booking, and there was an assortment of books and games to help fill quiet evenings. Do be incredibly aware of bears in the area! The house is tucked up on essentially a long one way driveway that is shared with other homes, do be careful driving up to it

There is a steep one lane windy road to this property and bears aplenty while we were there in May. We loved the house but the drive up and down was a bit scary. Luckily we never met another car going either way or one of us would have to back up. The road is not lit up at night so we were always back at the house before dark. Have bear spay if you plan to walk in the area. There are not many homes and lots of wooded areas. The house is located on the edge of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! The elevation of the house is probably around 2000 to 2800 feet above sea level with Gatlinburg at about 1200 to 1500 feet. It's a lovely area and we enjoyed this home, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!

The view from the back porch is amazing! One quick drive down the mountain and you’re literally in the middle of all the shopping and fun of Gatlinburg! The house was the cutest lay out and the property management company was the FASTEST responding and most helpful company I think I’ve EVER dealt with! They were SO friendly! The house is situated at the end of a dead end street with only one other house beside it on the whole street which was great! The house did show signs of minor wear and tear but overall was great for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely adored this chalet!

I absolutely adored this chalet. It was the perfect place to spend the days in town for my marriage. I’ve only ever stayed at hotels so this being a new experience made it even better.

This property is really pretty, and the pictures online are fabulous. The property is a little run-down and could use some fresh paint, etc. The cleanliness was not great, but it was tolerable. The Host was amazing though!! We had a small issue with the AC not working upstairs, but that got resolved quickly! There were some broken bulbs outside on the deck so those lights didn't work.

Overall this place was very nice. It is about 4 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg which is exactly what I was looking for; close enough to enjoy all the activities but also in the mountains in a quite beautiful neighbor hood with a great view.

Gatlinburg Friends Vacation

The house was perfect for our party of 6, everyone slept comfortably and the property was great. I would definitely recommend staying here with friends or family. We sighted bears every day of the stay which was very exciting.
