Staff with rental property was friendly and easy to work with. The hot tub could have been cleaner, but overall the stay was good and the property was nice
Our stay was absolutely amazing. This is the second year in a row we have been to the Smokies and this time was especially great because all the leaves were in full color. Our cabin was simple but well maintained and very clean. I would stay there again!!
The location is private. Cabin is nice but the only complaint about the property we have is the small parking space. The only other complaint we have is the bedroom is in an upstairs loft, which is fine, but in the summer weather it doesn't cool off very well at all. The first night we had to sleep downstairs on a pull out mattress it was so hot. The property owners answered every question we had quickly and answered the phone when we called. They were also very nice to deal with. It was a nice romantic getaway for our 30th anniversary.
The cabin is charming and our stay was comfortable. The indoor jacuzzi was nice. There was random things like a bunch of VHS tapes and misc. items in some of the drawers downstairs. The décor was early 1990's, but otherwise it was very comfy and affordable. Our main suggestion is that the loft needs a small window AC unit or additional vent. We had to turn the AC down to 65 to keep the loft comfortable enough at 72 to sleep at night. The downstairs would be cold to keep the upstairs comfortable. But again, the price wasn't bad, and it overall a good experience.
1) the address was very difficult to find. Basically, I was lost on the mountain road. Called them and they agreed that address is not to be found on GPS. But they stayed on the phone and walked me in the muddy road to find the place
2) the parking spot had a slope toward valley. There were no safe guards to prevent my car to fall into valley and I was so scared each day that I tried to go to city for food or fun.
3) last day I ordered pizza because I was afraid to move my car in 1 car only road. ( no way that 2 cars fit in the road) the pizza guy got lost and multiple phone calls done till I stayed in the road and saw the car and by that time my pizza was cold and mushy. But the view was excellent. Outdoor spa was great and I enjoyed my trip. But next time I would stay further down when the address is more easy to find and parking lot is straight without slope toward valley without safe guards.
Great stay. The wige and i enjiyed the location. Was far enough away for seclusion byt still close to the city for the attractions. The cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for 2 people.
Truly in the woods, but that is what we wanted. Just follow instructions host gives you for GPS instructions and you will not have a problem finding the cabin. We saw a black bear walk past the cabin 2x and eat acorns on the side once.
Check in was easy and flexible. The house was cute and rustic. Everything worked and was comfortable. The kitchen was a little cramped when more than one person was cooking. The driveway was gravel and would benefit from some grading. We enjoyed our time there and it was only 13 minutes away from Gatlinburg.
We absolutely loved our stay at your cabin. The view was definitely the highlight for us. The mountains are just breath taking. Nice quite neighborhood too!
Great place for 1 or 2 people! Even with the directions, we still had a bit of trouble finding the cabin at first, but the host answered our call right away and stayed on the line with us until we located it. The cabin was clean, as described, and we had no issues at all during our stay. We did have a bear check out the trash can and open my car door (thought it was locked!) and look for food, so definitely make sure your doors are locked and be aware of bears! We would absolutely stay here again.
