Yellowstone Red Barn Retreat is located on the hillside overlooking the Yellowstone River and minutes from Yellowstone National Park.
WINTER is magical in the Park
and snowcoach's depart daily from Gardiner. First stop is Mammoth Hot Springs with Fort Yellowstone's historic buildings and the iconic Mammoth Terraces and Hot Springs.
Next stop, Old Faithful.... shooting hundreds of feet into blue Big Sky.
Historic Old Faithful Inn and it's fireplace are a work of art - literally! Sit and enjoy hot cocoa, an Old Fashion before enjoying the 5 Star Dining experience.

Wonderful visit, excellent location

As a family of 2 adults and 4 kids we had a great visit at this property. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location of being near the North entrance of Yellowstone but still having the privacy of open country was perfect.

Beautiful view

It was a nice stay and close to the Yellowstone entrance. The little town was cute and there was gas and groceries nearby which was a plus. We had an amazing time and we all were very comfortable!

Spacious, secluded home, comfortable beds, convenient to Yellowstone

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The main room was comfortable for our family of four. I liked the remote location where it felt like we were homesteaders on a secluded ranch, but with the convenience of only being 10 minutes from Gardiner and Yellowstone.

Yellowstone Vista

Fabulous rental! Close to the Park and beautifully decorated. Hosts are nice people to engage with if you choose, but extremely respectful of your privacy as they live close to the cabin. Stayed here several times and always look forward to returning!

Fishing Retreat for Yellowstone Park

My fishing buddy and I have stayed here several times. It’s convenient to access the Northeast corner of the park and it’s spacious and well-equipped. We always enjoy our stay!

Lovely home with a view

We enjoyed our stay, location is about a 10 min drive from town and North entrance to Yellowstone park. If you don't want to be crowed by being in town and what a nice quiet getaway with a short drive to town and Yellowstone this house will be a good fit. The house was perfect for our family with spacious living room and dinning area that has a wonderful view.

Stay near Gardiner

We were pleased with our stay at the unusual house near Gardiner. Like most folks we were headed for YNP each day of our stay and we were happy to come to the house after hiking and seeing the sights. The view from the front windows was so pleasant. It is well equipped with supplies one needs - bring your own bar soap if you are used to that. The host is an extremely talented stained glass artist and we loved seeing her work. We recommend this VRBO for families.

Great location

The house is very charming. The view is amazing. The owners very responsive. Our trip was to go to Yellowstone Park and the house is in a perfect location. My suggestions to make it even better is to put some comfortable chairs in front of the house. The view is so amazing that we spent more time outside that inside of the house and definitely what they offer is not comfortable at all. However, if I have the chance to to back to that aérea I will rent it again. Highly recommended.

Meet Yellowstone

The Graff's cabin was perfect for our long promised trip to introduce grandkids and their parents to Yellowstone. Cabin has everything needed for a comfortable week's VRBO stay. John and El were ideal hosts. Cabin is convenient to Gardiner, Mammoth, and all northern park points. Colors with a dusting of snow and lots of wildlife from antelope and bears to elk and mule deer but on a great show. We could not have asked for more!

Excellent location for enjoying Northern Yellowstone

Our family of 7 (5 adults, 1 child and 1 infant) plus our 2 dogs had a wonderful time here. There was plenty of space to spread out and the living room was comfortable for spending time with each other. We had a great vantage point of the Yellowstone River and watched bull elk gather their harems every night. The home is decorated beautifully with many pieces of one-of-a-kind stained glass art. My grandkids enjoyed sitting in the grass beneath the elm tree in the afternoons. The communal pool is located at Yellowstone Hot Springs, a great place to visit if you have time. We spent a lot of time in Gardiner and Yellowstone and this was a great place to call home base for a week!

Perfect place for our family

Very cute property. Lovely stained glass accents. This was perfect for our family of 5 adults + dog. I considered it an easy drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone. Great view across the river. Host had tons of info availabe and some interestng books, even an offer to loan bear spray. Driveway is a bit ruff, but I live on a dirt road so no biggie. Other reviewers complained about owners dogs barking at night but we never heard them. I would deffinately recommend this VRBO.

Great place pretty close to the north entrance. It got warm in the house but we were able to open the windows and it was nice. Great view of the mountains and quiet even though the highway was close. We would definitely stay again! The check in process and communication was great.

The red barn had everything we needed for a great stay! One of our best experiences was hiking to the OTO ranch, less than a half mile from the barn….a much bigger elk herd than what we saw in Yellowstone, and the ranch itself was very interesting.
