We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Everything about it was wonderful. The home was very clean with all the amenities we needed for cooking both inside and out. The jacuzzi was great in the evenings to warm up in and to watch the wild turkeys nest for the night. It is in a quiet community with breathtaking views and plenty of wildlife to see as well. Ruben, the owner, was fantastic to work with and quick to communicate with us. It all made our 33rd anniversary so very special and we would easily recommend it to others. Thank you Ruben for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Our second stay and just as good as the first!

Great views and friendly hosts! We love the views, turkeys, elk, hot tub, and just having a relaxing weekend here. The A Frame cabin is so well done and there’s so many nice touches that are incorporated throughout that we love. Thanks again!

The Perfect Couple Retreat

Relax and unwind

The property was stunning. We spent 2 nights and 1 day for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make meals and all amenities had a simple but luxurious feel. We definitely recommend this wonderful home for your next trip!

Beautiful view - modern style

Loved our time at the Doki Dojo! The cabin is stunning and modern. The view is gorgeous and peaceful. Hot tub was so nice, as well as making s’mores around the firepit. Beautifully furnished, and would highly recommend. Woke up to a flock of wild turkeys and deer right outside. Will definitely stay again.

Incredible!!

We absolutely loved the Doki Dojo and it couldn’t have been more perfect for my husband and I, and my sister and her husband. We were in town for a small family reunion in the Crouch area. This may be the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Attention to detail in every way. Beautiful furnishings and decor, clean, comfortable, easy to get to, clear instructions etc..Will definitely book this perfect place again for a longer stay!

Even Better in Person

We loved our stay at this gorgeously designed property. The photos on the website are beautiful, but the place is even better in person. The hosts have provided luxurious, thoughtful touches throughout, from the silverware to the towels and the bedding. We soaked in the hot tub one evening, played board games, watched movies, cooked delicious meals, and enjoyed the stunning sunrises and forest views. It was one of our best getaways yet. We plan to bring friends with us next time.

Great location and relaxing

Location was great for hitting up hot springs in the area. It was wonderful coming back to a beautiful relaxing home. Hot tub was perfect for stargazing and the propane fire with seats for 4 was a great space to hang out with the family. Kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need to make a beautiful meal. Home had a few board games, yoga mats and lots of TV options. Not a fan of the foam mattress, not sure if this is a trendy thing or cost effective, but didn’t get such a great night sleep. Bathrooms were beautiful with lots of towels and fun smelling soaps and lotions.

This A-frame exceeded my expectations!

It’s always been a bucket list item of mine to stay in a-frame cabin with a hot tub. I saw this place and had to stay! It was everything! The owners were very responsive and helpful. The little details like the nice shampoo and conditioner, to the nice towels, hot tub towels, yoga mats, kids dishes, and cozy blankets everywhere made me just want to curl up and drink something warm. Highly recommend this place! Thanks again for making my dreams come true. 😊

Perfect Mountain House

This is an amazing house and property and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Besides being impeccably clean and in a beautiful location there are so many perks that made it a wonderful and relaxing place to spend a few days in the mountains. Everything about this place is just a little bit nicer than it has to be. You can tell they really put a lot of thought and attention to detail into the property and it really makes a difference. The kitchen and bathrooms are all beautiful and outfitted with everything you’ll need. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces - grill and dining table, hot tub, fire ring, and hammocks. I especially loved the second hammock that’s on a ledge about 50ft down the hillside from the house, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening mountain breeze! The host Ruben was also very responsive and accommodating for us when our travel plans changed after we initially booked. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The most exquisitely designed place from the home itself to all the furnishings. There was a lot of thought from the owners put in for the comfort of their renters. I would definitely recommend to most families with the exception of small children under 4 due to stairs

Amazing!

Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. For us, it was the little things that made it so overly special. A Bluetooth speaker, specific makeup towels, yoga mats, blankets for by the fire-I could go on and on. Everything was high quality down to the plates and bowls. We can’t wait to come back.

House is as advertised. Clean, beautiful property, wonderful views, wildlife, quiet, relaxing. I have nothing but positive to say about this property or the property manager. My work schedule changed last minute and I was able to go to Garden Valley a day early. Unfortunately Doki Dojo was not available when I contacted Ruben but he made some calls and helped us locate a place to stay the first night. Truly a 5 star experience. Im very much looking forward to my next stay at Doki Dojo.

Perfect get-a-way!

We live in the Treasure Valley and wanted a fun weekend get-a-way paddle boarding on the Middle Fork of the Payette River. The property had plenty of space for our pick-ups, and boarding equipment. The fire pit and hot tub in the evenings was the icing on the cake. The interior checked all the boxes. It is decorated fun and bright, certainly above the average. Beds were comfortable, all was clean and the kitchen was loaded, which allowed us to prepare all of our meals in the home. We will most definitely be back next summer! P.S. Watching the Turkeys and the Deer was a nice bonus.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway!

The Doki Dojo was the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved sitting on the patio while we visited and took in the beautiful mountain views. One morning we even woke up to see a flock of wild turkeys just outside the cabin. It is also just a short drive from Terrace Lakes Resort so it was convenient when we went to the hot springs.This home was VERY clean and had all the amenities we needed. I think the hosts have put a lot of time and effort into making this place an oasis for their guests. Everything from the design to the little extras like having board games and books available was so charming. They were even so thoughtful as to surprise us with a bottle of sparkling wine which we enjoyed on our last night at the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here! We will have to book it in the future for one of our anniversaries.

Amazing - even better if you like soft mattresses

Pictures are the most accurate I’ve ever seen, did not feel catfished at all. Well stocked kitchen. Easier check out process. Doesn’t ask you to clean the whole house and then charge a cleaning fee. This is preference but the mattresses were soooo soft, and we just like a more firm mattress. We felt like once we were in bed we would be there for the long run since getting out takes so much effort. The water is extreme hard and mineraly, we wish they had bottled water or a filter on the faucet. But that’s the only drawback! Overall it was great and we’ll 100% be back.
