The cabin needed some fixing. The bunk beds were very wobbly and unusable, the a/c floor unit had tubing that had come out of the window and duct tape. The wifi and tv didn’t work. When I asked about the wifi I was told it was working and to check it was plugged in. It was plugged in and didn’t work the whole night. The wifi worked if you walked outside of the cabin.

Terrible experience. I have several picture about the unit being very dirty and not up to standard. Also the WiFi/internet situation was non existent. There was no point in having a tv when there was no line. Couldn’t even stream from our phone. I literally had to go in town to use my work laptop for a few hours. Overall very inconvenient.
On top of everything else my fiancée woke up with a rush on her face most likely due to the cleanliness of the pillow.
I I understand that sometime things go wrong, a worker didn’t showed up to do their job maybe.
Anyway spending what we did for a dirty place and no amenities is just not ok. Tried to reach out to management afterward to see if they wanted to fix things but I never got a reply. It's a pity because the location is nice and the cabins are charming. Just very poorly maintained, same as the bushy lot around it.
Perfect spot for our family coming from three different states for 5 days together. We rented four log cabins altogether (grandparents, adult children and siblings). We stayed in Cabin 8 with our two adult children and two pups. Nice size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, large table, well supplied with pans for stove, plates, dishes, silverware, two queen beds and twin bunk bed. Nice size TV. However, bunk bed was wobbly so decided not to use upper bunk. Bathroom was nice size and included shower/tub, sink, toilet, lots of fluffy white bath towels. Did need more washclothes, handtowels and trash bags but hosts were very accommodating and provided. The covered porch had two chairs for use with one being a log rocking chair. Also had a portable grill that could be used. The grounds included a central bonfire pit and benches and very easy to find dessert at custard/Italian Ice/Gelato shop nearby. Plenty of parking. Might be tight with trailers but guessing hosts would assist with that. Across street was nice biking/walking path to Garden City or beaches south of town. We boated two days, rented side by side vehicles for trail riding another day and another day group split with one hiking with pups and another visited ice cave. Had a wonderful time. Thank you.
It wasn’t clear how to check in, but there was a staff person close by who gave us the code so there was no problem. The room was clean, beds comfortable but we were surprised that there was no soap or other amenities in the bathroom, just an empty pump soap bottle. Also, very little in the way of plates etc. in the kitchen.
The property was described as having a seven minute walk to the water, but it wasn’t clear how you would access it once you crossed the busy street.
We were glad to be able to find this place at fairly short notice but for the money, I will give myself extra time to find something a little nicer next time.
After checking into our property that said slept six people, we saw that one bed was completely broken and didn’t even have an extra blanket and pillow set aside. Just a broken bed and mattress! I reached out to the host, and he never got back to me on it. We were a family of six, so we needed a space for six. Like at least a pillow and a blanket. In addition, the person who cleans this does a basic job. There were wrappers under our beds, some sort of pancake or something spread out by the broken bed, and there were twin sheets on our queen size bed, so sharing sheets didn’t happen. I’m usually pretty flexible and can overlook small details like this, but combined with a broken bed and the fact that the just never got back to us on it is a bit much. It’s kind of comical now that we’re done with our stay, and to think that that actually happened, but for how much they charge a night and the condition of the place, I’d say try to find another spot.

Good location for adults but furniture is not stabilized to the wall, so concern for young kids.
There was a little confusion with the check-in process, where they mixed us up with another customer with the same name. After that was figured out, it was an easy check in process. The place is in a great location and there is bike rentals and a snack bar right out front with gelato and custards. The place could have been a little cleaner than what we found it like, but there was plenty of cleaning supplies to clean up.
CONS
Larger furniture (chest) was not stabilized to wall, which is a huge concern for young kids safety.
It is exactly what we needed! Close to family camping in Rendevous Beach and delicious Italian ice, gelato, and custard practically right outside our door.

Bear Lake Stay
Overall good experience. Got there and there was no garbage bags and no toilet paper. Also, no WiFi. That wasn’t a huge concern, but when things are said to be included, I expect them to be included. Speaking with the property manager wasn’t easy. He ended up relating messages through other staff members, but only after coming to them personally to ask questions. Felt like he was avoiding us. Other than that, the cabin was comfortable and reasonably clean.

Good but beds needs replaced!
We enjoyed our stay at this location. My only real complaint was the beds. They were terrible. The mattresses most definitely need replaced.
This place was amazing for my group of 5. It was more spacious than I was expecting with high ceilings, very clean and about 5 minutes from everything you can think of; restaurants, beaches and docks, horseback riding areas, etc. We even spent some time at the community fire pit to stargaze one night. The only thing I recommend is using disposable plates and utensils since our dishes weren’t clean from previous renters. Highly recommend and definitely would stay again and again though
We loved the little cabin. It was very convenient and had all the amenities that we needed. The listing did not tell us there was a stove so I brought a propane stove and was pleasantly surprised that there was a full-size stove and oven. The campfire was lovely. In the pictures you can’t tell but the campfire is shared between all the cabins. That worked out fine for us but we weren’t sure what to expect so knowing that would be helpful. We had family staying at the blue Lake resort across the street which gave us access to the beach and the swimming pool which was amazing. The cabin was very comfortable with good beds and pillows. We had to buy paper plates and cups because we had quite a few of us and there were not a lot of utensils or cups, so bring some if you think of it. Also we really needed some dish towels which we didn’t have. Excellent cabin life! Also the new Caribbean custard and Frozen ice shop is pretty awesome adjacent to the cabins.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived but it’s a cute cabin with fun decorations. We didn’t have any toilet paper at first but the host quickly responded to our text and dropped some off. We also had some trouble with the door lock, you have to pause after entering the code before pushing the checkmark or it doesn’t work. It’s a quiet area and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was great!
We walked in the room, beds looked like kids were jumping from one bed to the other. Walked in to the bathroom and the washcloth looked like an old rag that was used to wipe down the floors. Handprints on the microwave and fridge. There was a broken chair next to the door as well. To top it off we didn’t have a working tv due to no internet. Thank god I packed my own blankets and sanitizing wipes because we were so grossed out the whole tome we were there.
The cabin was big enough for the four of us to have enough room to move around. The bunk bed was a bit wobbly, so we took the top mattress off and put it on the floor and it worked out for us that way (we have four overweight non-related adults, so we needed four separate places to sleep). The kitchen didn't have many cups or glasses, but we were able to accommodate our needs. When there were not enough towels, the owners brought over more. Overall we were very happy with our stay. We built a big bonfire in the fireplace and stayed up till 4 in the morning. No one bothered us, and other renters in the complex were friendly.
It was a nice place that we would stay in again. However VRBO did not provide me with info/instructions to enter the property. But thankfully the owner was available to provide me the info. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom.
