Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly (animals included), the land is gorgeous and well maintained, and the spaces were very clean especially considering that this is a farm tucked into the woods. 「The only downside to this stay was the inaccurate information given on my hotels.com reservation regarding calling the property 24 hours in advance to receive the access codes for entry. The host actually sends you a text on the day of your arrival with that information. The hotel has no parking, it's street parking only, which really wasn't a problem since we could pull up in front of the building and unload. Glad we were on the first floor - there's a long staircase to the second floor. ...

「If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle.」

「Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. 」
