"Karen the innkeeper, cook, maid, handyman and chief bottle washer is a national treasure! Understand the room is primitive, with no tv or in room refrigerator or coffeemaker. However that’s the charm. It’s a trip back in time. (Except for the excellent internet signal, which is mostly non existent in that valley) The homemade quilts on the beds. Knotted pine walls. The clock radio alarm clock from the ‘70’s. Awaking to the smell of bacon cooking in the kitchen downstairs. And of course Karen’s delicious home cooking and friendly chats. It’s a fun step back in time and we really enjoyed it. Thank you Karen!"

"Very good location for our stay. Very clean and good size room. Beds comfy. Only complaint is we had no hand soap at sink. I inquired at ofc he said he would put in room as we had to run out and it was in supply room. We returned and all he left us was a tiny bottle of lotion. No soap and it was late so we didn’t go bk to ofc."

"The property was immaculate. Check in was very easy. The outside fire ring and chairs surrounding were very cozy. We did not use the twin beds, but we slept on the queen bed, and that was probably one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. We were only staying for a couple days, but we had everything we needed, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, the living room was very cozy. Nice covered front porch, adequate outside lighting. The heating system was very easy to use. I will tell you, when they say that it is a secluded cabin be prepared to be secluded! You have a fairly long road to get to the driveway, then a fairly long driveway to get to the cabin. If you're looking for seclusion and to get away, this is your place. 15 minutes from World's end, couldn't be happier, trying to figure out when we can rebook again.Also... there is a lot of open property in front of the cabin. If you turn off all the lights, you can see a million stars! There were a lot of trees, so couldn't see through them but the Open Sky area is, tons of stars. So if you were there in the spring before all the leaves came on, or here in the fall after all the leaves fell it is absolutely beautiful."

"We really appreciate how clean was the place. My husband has multiple allergies and I was concerned about dust, or mold. He actually was very good, and did not sneeze once. The cabin has most of supplies ready to use from kitchen supplies, towels, bathrooms supplies. I really like the coffee and teabags supplied. Definitely we will be back."

"This house had everything you will need and a little more! It was extremely clean, had the necessities and the spiral staircase was a bonus. It’s so close to the park and restaurants too. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here! I had to text Jeff, the host and he got back to me almost instantly. That made me feel super comfortable."
