Although it was hostel, the room had a private bathroom. Only thing was the shower has no divider to toilet. So, the floor gets wet after the shower. The owner couple was very nice and hospitable. We were a big group, so it was nice to have a dinning room to hangout.

Great Gangneung stay!

We had a wonderful budget stay with 8 family members. Enough space for social time, good breakfasts and hosts. Gangneung has a lot to offer, the local markets, churches, historical buildings plus lots of good eateries nearby & over the seaside. Just keep your eyes open. We don't speak korean but everyone was friendly & helpful. Bus access is nearby though we drove mostly as a group. Just be mindful that you may need to stay out between 1000-1500 for it's cleaning time.

手作りのお茶とスープがおいしい

仲の良いご夫婦が運営されているゲストハウスで手作りの木蓮の花のお茶やビーツのお茶を淹れてくださって韓国語で一緒におしゃべりして楽しかったです。朝食のじゃがいものスープとカボチャのスープもとてもおいしくて、いちごなどのフルーツと目玉焼き、食パン。駅からはカカオタクシー利用。とても寒い日だったのでお部屋が少し寒く感じましたが、オンドルで床は温かく、静かで過ごしやすかったです。鏡の前にテレビがあって、鏡が見えなかったので、シャワールームの鏡を利用しました。

Eenvoudig maar geweldig pension bij het centrum

Keurig en uitmuntend verzorgd pension vlak buiten het commerciële centrum (op loopafstand of met de bus eenvoudig te bereiken). Het echtpaar dat het hier runt is ontzettend aardig, en maakte iedere ochtend een geweldig Koreaans ontbijt voor me. Werkelijk een fantastisch verblijf; simpel, maar zeer schoon en keurig verzorgd. Ideaal voor mijn bezoek aan Gangneung. Van harte aanbevolen!

Super nice and clean!

The place is very clean, the lady and mr. are so nice and they follow the covid regulatory process as for temperature check and writing name and number. The location is just regular, but if you have a car or take a taxi you can easily move to the beach, bus station, and train station. This was our second stay in this place, the lady remembered us and was very kind. I definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Express stay, but it was super nice, clean and comfy. The lady and mister that received us were super kind. We didn't try the breakfast because he had to leave early but they offered it too. Really really nice! 💛

친척집에 왔다가는 느낌이 들만큼 깨끗한 숙소입니다. 두 분 사장님 친절하시고 조식도 맛있습니다. 겨울인데 방도 따뜻해요.청결 면에서는 호텔보다 낫고요. 이번에 남편과 둘이 왔는데 다음에 친정 식구들과도 한번 오고 싶네요.

좋은숙소. 착한숙소. 가성비 갑.

별밤투어를 예약해놓고 적당한위치의 숙소를 찾던중 적당한 가격에 긍정적인 리뷰를보고 선택했는데 정말 탁월한 선택이었습니다. 깔끔하고 느낌좋은 이부자리와 청결함은 기본이구요 매우 친절하십니다. 주차도 불편하지 않았고 조식도 간단하지만 만족했네요. 다만 깔고자는 요가 좀 딱딱해서 일행이 불편하다고 말씀드렸더니 바로 침대방으로 바꿔주시고 매트위에 요를 하나 추가해서 깔아주셨더라구요. 불편함없이 이틀동안 잘 쉬고 왔습니다. 위치도 좋아서 강릉시내 를 걸어서 다녔네요.
