Clean, updated, nice bedding, kitchen, deck.
Had some trouble getting into the property. Realized the building numbers are the same on a few units. You have to make sure you are on the right street. Also, getting into the door was a bit of a trick. After having difficulty, the owner was called and the problem was rectified. He sent out someone to change the battery on the door lock the next morning. We were told to put in the code and turn the handle...actually, you turn the lock, then turn the handle. Unfortunately, it rained all but 1 day the whole vacation. We walked the beaches anyway and were grateful when the sun came out the last day of our trip. It's remote and secluded. Not many people in other units while we were there in mid April. A small grocery is a few miles away. It's about a 30 minute drive to the seawall for restaurants and tourist activities. Had a great meal at Nate's Seafood about 15 minutes away and you can't beat Texas Pit Stop Barbeque anywhere in the world! Would definitely do this again!
