Really enjoyed our stay. The place is right across from the beach. The apartment was clean and had a lot of included household items. TV’s worked fine, shower water pressure was therapeutic, and patio overlooking the pool was nice. Location is right next to the Walmart. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

So this is our second time staying in this exact condo and our fourth time staying at the dawn! So needless to say we love it! This specific condo is always very clean and was already very cool when we arrived. The beds are all comfortable, they provide so many amenities, And it feels very homey! The only two issues we had was the washing machine was unbalanced so it was difficult to wash a load of clothes. There was also a slight issue with the icemaker in the refrigerator, as it was very slow, and the water came out very slow. But those are two pretty small issues and overall we love this condo and love the dawn! The grounds on the dawn are always immaculate, and the pools are wonderful! We had an amazing time and I would advise anyone to stay here!

Perfect Holiday

Great Stay!

This was our second time staying at the Dawn Condominiums, a different unit though. Location is great! It's right across the seawall, a short walk to the beach.. the 2 pools are great and pretty much always maintained. The condo was very clean, but did notice the a/c vents need to be cleaned, as well as a stand alone fan in the master closet. Everything was provided, but depending on the length of your .stay, you will need to buy additional paper towels, toilet paper, etc... My family of 4 was very happy with our trip .We would love to stay Anson!againarmed getaway. c........vent

Nice condo but has some opportunities

When we stayed, the property manager was extremely unresponsive. We tried to submit requests for a couple of work orders, including the master bathroom toilet not working and the back door not locking. It took over 12 hours for a generic response to come back and that was only after I followed up. Disappointed in Vacasa. additionally there were some cleanliness opportunities. The kitchen was extremely disorganized and cabinets were dirty. The home was decorated nicely and definitely has potential but seems like it isn’t being cared for. Additionally, one of the pools was extremely cloudy and dirty and had algae growing on the side. The other pool seemed to be better kept.

Smooth, easy, great stay

Just about everything was perfect at this property. Easy to get in and out. Plenty of space and clean conditions. Only complaint is a number of entry way and living room overhead lights and some bedroom lamps didn’t work properly.

Great condo

The property was amazing and had great amenities that we really enjoyed. The condo was comfortable and had great space to fit 5 guests. We had a few issues with the checki-in. We arrived a little early and asked if we could just hang out by the pool until our room was ready. The woman at The desk said we could go ahead and go into our room if we were sent the code which we did have. We Carried all of our stuff from the car and went up to our room. When we unlocked the room it was clear that they had not cleaned our room. So We had to take all our luggage back down to the car. A few dishes were dirty in the cabinets and we only received 2 wash clothes and 4 towels for 5 people. The only other thing that was not positive was that prior to our trip I had contacted Vacasa asking about a hair dryer and some other things and I just got canned responses that were already on the website. I thoroughly read the site so I knew it didn’t say hair dryer so we packed one then they ended up having it. I also asked what kind of grill and they just restated the information. It would be helpful if customer reach out to receive more additional information.

This was one of the best experiences that I’ve had in a vacation home yet. They had everything we needed and then some. It was the cutest little beach home and my family loved it. I would recommend. 10stars.

Comfortable condo in convenient location.

Condo was very nice in a gated secure property across from the ocean and next to the highway. We had a view of the pool and the ocean from our balcony. The place is on the second floor which is nice for the view but tricky getting large suitcases up the stairs.

Great location and home

Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Beach on one side and Walmart on the other. Great restaurants decently close. Wish the pools were heated, they were colder than the ocean! Would stay here again!

Better than hotels in the area

My family took a short weekend trip to Galveston and stayed in this Dawn Condo. Location: We liked the location for the convenience of the beach right across the street and a sidewalk right there. Walmart next door was a plus for us with 2 kids under 3, we could pick up anything we forgot and also grab some groceries. There is also a Randall's and Kroger within walking distance. We were not happy about there not being any local food places nearby, but there were some chains. Lastly, there were a few homeless people sleeping/hanging around the gas station next door. Check in was super easy even though we didnt arrive until about 8pm. All codes were provided to us before we arrived so we were not delayed getting into the condo. Cleanliness: The rental was decently clean upon arrival, however as we stayed we noticed a few areas that have not been taken care of. 1. The fans (celing and floor) are super dusty and unless you want allergy problems I don't suggest using them until they are cleaned. 2. Under the beds and dressers have not been cleaned. My 2 year old found a flaming hot Cheeto under the 2nd bed along with other things, in the Main bedroon there were things I did not reach for as well as a receipt from April 2021( we went in Oct. 2021...) 3. There are tiny bugs in the main bedroom bath along the molding. 4. Upon arrival and anytime we were out for a while and came back, the condo smelled very musty. Not a pleasant smell on vacation. 5. The dishes all had water spots on them I assume from the dishwasher, but I washed all the ones we used by hand before use just in case. They just didn't seem clean to me. Accuracy: For the most part the listing was accurate. This condo is updated, it had most of everything advertised and more. We were disappointed to only find 1 beach towel in a basket our 1st day there, luckily I brought the kid's from home. It wasn't until I was cleaning up to leave that I found 2 more under the sink in the bathroom. (Still for a place to sleep 6, there need to be more beach towels) What attacted me to this listing was the pack & play and beach toys already in the condo. There is a pack & play (bring your own sheet) it could also use a good scrubbing. As far as beach toys, there is 1 small bucket and a wagon type toy. :( Both kids fought over the bucket & Walmart doesn't sell beach toys in Oct. There is 1 sippy cup, high chair & spoons Overall, I'd stay here again but would love if more attention was given to cleaning

Communication by Turnkey was fantastic along the way. Lots of email reminders and good information for a smooth checkin. The property was very comfortable. There was a pack n play and a high chair in the unit as well as a little umbrella stroller. I was surprised to see limited beach gear present in the condo - no chairs, only 1 kids bucket and 3 beach towels. The pack n play was nice enough though we were a little grossed out by how chewed on the top edges were for our teething 1 year old (trying to put her mouth on it too!). The high chair was nice enough, but a little difficult to clean to our level of cleanliness. In general there was a reasonable level of consumable goods in the condo, though it lacked a roll of paper towel for us on arrival, which was a little annoying since it had been listed as something that would be present (we left some for the next guests). Overall, it was a great stay and we would stay here again. P.s. We had hoped there would be a hairdryer in the unit, but there was not. Bring your own!

Weekend get-away

We were very pleased with the condo, it was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The pool was very nice and where we spent the majority of our time. It was my first trip to Galveston.

This is advertised as sleeping 6 which is technically true but the sofa bed was horrible. The pool was small & warm and murky looking.
